Lol that's true we barely ever disagree, I usually agree with 99.9% of your posts lol, but I don't know why I hate the corded mic it just makes me cringe now. But I started following Cèline in 1997 so 2 years after you but the corded mic was still being used at that time, but I didn't hate it then just after she got rid of it and then decided to bring it back lol.

But let me ask this what's the reason you love it?

I think a big part is the nostalgia behind it. As if the Celine from the 90's was back, a time when she used to release album after album, performing on tours after tours.
Also she sings and performs alone on stage, the mic and the cord is kind of replacing the back up dancers, she plays with it a lot, and she seems more confortable with it. She loves her mic and you can tell. Did you see the video were she gives her mic to that girl to finish the song Immortality? At the end she's literally fighting for her mic back. Loll
Watch Live a Paris, and try picturing it without the cord... Its weird loll

I love the fact that two of the  voice judges are here tonight. Usher and Adam Levine!!! At least they can talk about how great celine and constantly be reminded by it so they can discuss it on their show if a contestant sings one of her songs.

That would be fun. A song in the old style of Maroon 5, maybe? I'm not liking the direction of their latest music. Sounds like everything else out there right now. They always had a signature to their sound and they seem to have lost it a bit.
