The current Vegas shows are boring in my opinion. Been there done that. Always the same setlist.. The last French tour was far from boring. She sang songs never performed live and that together with her orchestra.. beautiful and interesting! Also, encore un soir was live even better, far from boring.
I even have no intererest to see her in Vegas since i know which songs she will sing.

There was no notice onAug they were to be doing some recording.  Celine just came out and advised us right before.

There is no denying that listening to amateur recordings of the tour in your room can be boring.

Yeap. I'd take poor quality ones over the USF DVD for instance. Point is that no recording captures the magic of the live show.

Exactly so you never know they could have easily recorded it the whole thing that night. If they broadcasted a song on tv whatever footage was used surely could be good enough for dvd use too.

As I recall, the radio stations used the same recording, but changed the titles based on where the radio stations were. A white lie, but they did it for their good I would assume!

I think the only difference was they switched a few tracks around, so the running order was slightly different lol

For me that is a boring tour ,i prefer the tc tour over that one ,she looked sexy ,the effects ,the stage ,everything,the places she went to, it was interesting to watch,honestly this tour she sang new songs for the stage ok and that was fun but other than that,she dressed very bad the whole tour ,nothing interesting to watch,she looked not very good , no effects ,and we have to be honest performing now is not a singer standing on stage the whole time ,something interesting for the eye is also needed,and if anyone denies that than he or she is not living in that world ,I know it was for rene,but that doesn't mean that i want to watch it on dvd ,i prefer watching renes funeral rather than that one

She announced right from the star that this tour wouldn't be a bombastic show. No special stage, no visual effects, no dancers, just the music and her orchestra. So I'm surprised to see your disappointment when everyone knew even before the first show what we could expect. And then the bunch of new songs never performed before came. To me, that makes up for the rest of lacking elements

As much as I agree that I would love a more dinamic Celine show, with dancers, choreographies, and to see her dancing too, it's not going to happen. She's very static on the stage yes, but you have to assume this won't probably change now. We're not going to see a Celine Dion show in the ways of Madonna or Lady Gaga at this point.

It's so funny and sad at the same time that some people say a tour or a show ir boring simply because they don't like Céline's look. Please, she's a singer, not a model. Sometimes we forget it.

Guys, thanks a lot for your explanations, I think I really never knew they only changed the name of the city, I thought there was a real Zurich concert recorded. Although I have some recordings which are supposed to be from Zurich, so probably I should just compare them with the same songs from Live in London and see for myself if there's any difference. I probably sound as a diehard boring fan...

Well, I see your point, you would like to see the show, not just the live concert itself with a multipiece orchestra but c'mon, dressed bad, nothing interesting... Have we actually witnessed the same tour?

You may question my mental health, probably, but it is either me not living in this world, or there's a problem with my eyes because Celine Dion herself in my point of view is already pretty much interesting for the eye... I genuinely think there has been enough pageantry and glitz over the years, this tour was just the ticket.

Agreed. And let's not forget some of the horrendous outfits from the 90's... the vinyl LAP catsuit, the black pants and top with the red cummerbund from the LTAL tour... some of her best shows had the most questionable fashion choices. Even for the 90s!

To me this performance is the absolute highlight of the summer tour. The greatest memento! From her marvelous delivery to the ambiance... It is flawless! Even with bad quality.
