The press conference was excellent, in my view. Some questions were a bit repetitive, but Celine was great in answering them. She was much more serious (not surprisingly) than on the Today Show, more measured as well, despite a few nice jokes.

What stood out for me was how strong she came accross while you could feel at the same time how much she is still grieving. She also is really clever and witty. In short, the Celine I like most (neither too crazy nor too dramatic, just genuine and touching) came through.

Some things that came up, but this is far from comprehensive:

• When leaving the house, she says goodbye to the children and sometimes thinks of saying goodbye to Rene, until she realises he is no longer there. (She said much more about this, but that's the gist - and I found her very lost and so sad, but also strong when she told this.)
  
• She mentioned that the Quebecois public listens more than the French, who sing along all the time, but that she loves both and has been completely overwhelmed by the love and support.
  
• RC has once criticised how she pronounces a line in 'All by myself', which she found cute and it reminded her of Rene.
  
• RC also leaves short messages in the house (when he went golfing for example), and Rene did this every day, to say where he had gone, that he loved her...
  
• ALPHB was particularly touching for her on Sunday because the last line refers to a Sunday.
  
• Her wit shun through when many journalists said they had set next to RC. She said that it strikes her as odd that 6 people said they set next to him, while only 2 can (one left, one right).
  
• Aldo intervened when she talked about social media (as she is clueless). He said the plan was not to turn her into a Kardashian, but to share some key moments with the hardcore fans around the world.
  
• She seemed to be over the moon to be in Quebec, thanks to the nature and the fact that her children spent so much time outdoors, which is impossible in the hot Las Vegas. Even though she evaded the question, she said she would wish for herself to return one day to Quebec.
  
• Regarding the show, she dismissed the idea that a show needs to build up to a climax and follow the rhythm 'hit-a normal song-a hit-costume change'. She wanted to create one emotion/mood with 2-3 songs, then move on to a different emotion, then increase the energy. She also mentioned that she may be wrong but that the reactions of the audiences seemed to have proved her right (very diplomatic but also very confident, I liked that a lot).

As I said, there was much more. The 90 minutes pass quickly, it's the best interview I saw with her since Rene's death.

She also said that she wanted to become an actress, especially she pictures herself as a good old actress. She said she already acts sometimes when she's on stage but when she will no longer be able to sing the songs, she will probably ready to be in a movie."

The first songs ot the opening show were streamed on radios in Quebec, the SOUND WAS GORGEOUS and her voice so clear (nothing compared with the officials records that we had...), nobody recorded it ???  Please, it was on Rouge FM and Rythme FM.

Nothing new...this is just what they gleamed out of the English segment of Sunday's press conference. Pretty lame, frankly, that Hello CANADA seems to have no staff who understand French...

She's everywhere, and seemingly happily so.
CARAS should ask her to host the Junos again. That one time she did it she barely spoke English. Now she'd be her usual goofy self and could seriously do an awesome job.

I wrote to rouge FM team 2 days ago but they didn't answer... Hope someone did record because the sound was incredible!

I Highly doubt they want record the show

There is a chance for the the first two dates in Quebec... or maybe the date in Trois Rivières...but honestly, I don't think we are going to have a DVD.

The last live CD/DVD release that worked for me was ACDS and that says enough. However, this concert series is too damn good to solely exist in amateur YT videos.
