Hey all,

I recently managed to get a copy of '1 Fille & 4 Types' after chasing it for years. Yippee!!!  :clap:

Anyway, I have not been able to stop listening to it. The songs are unbelievable!  :thumbsup2:

If anyone hasn't already got it, make sure you check it out on iTunes - I'm sure you will love it.

To those who already have it, what's your favourite track(s)? At the moment it's impossible for me to choose.

Its a good album :yes: . My favourites are Rien n'est vraiment fini, Je Lui Dirai, Je t'aime encore (though I prefer the english version) and Contre nature :in_love: . All are song gems :in_love:

But I can't forgive they chose Tout l'or des hommes as first single, even as "single". It didn't deserve that, there were much better songs on the album (well, we know, as always the same story with Sony's criteria :rolleyes: )

And the only song I can't stand is Tu Nages. So stupid song with a no sense lyric (for me!) ^_^

You MUST get it - its so good!!! :) I wanted to get it on CD but could only find it on iTunes. I ended up finding it on CD but I really wish Id got it from iTunes earlier. I LOVE Celines music but this would have to be my favourite album.

I think its a good album.... not near SISDA or D'Elles but still up there.

I love Je Lui dirai, Retiens-moi, Rien n'est vraiment fini, Mon homme & Des milliers de baisers.

though I have to say that Ne Bouge Pas is one of her worst songs ever!!!

though i really find 1f4T one of celine's best french albums to date, i'll still stick to my SISDA cd. nothing compares to the consistency of this album, and the wonderfully written lyrics of each songs. though not as well crafted as SISDA & D'ELLES (yes, the album has grown on me, finally!), it showcases a real transition of a ballad celine to a rocker celine. 3.5 stars. :)

My favourite track is Retiens-moi. It's beautyful...  :wub:

Some others I really really like are Je t'aime encore, Apprends-moi, Tout l'or des hommes, Je lui dirai and Contre nature.
Le vol d'un ange is great too. As well as Rien n'est vraiment fini. Ok the whole album is fabulous.  :D

I like this album very much, too. I agree that the instrumentation is just perfect, probably the best of all the albums, however, Céline's voice seems a bit tired to me. My very favourite songs are Tu nages and Retiens-moi.

yes! i love it! it is so peaceful - i have it as part of a playlist of music that sends me to sleep every night!

my other favourites are:

Contre Nature
Retiens Moi

But I love the whole album - i think it is her 2nd best french album (after D'eux)

I don't like the album as a whole but some songs are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! :w00t: Contre Nature, Rien N'est Vraiment Fini, Le Vol D'un Ange, Retiens-Moi are my fav. tracks!

I give this album 3.5/5. I think I need to listen to it more sometime :giggle:

Oh yes, 1 fille et 4 types! A real masterpiece indeed. :wub:
I love all the songs... For instance, "Apprends-moi", "Le Vol D'un Ange", "Et je t'aime encore", "Retiens-moi", "Contre nature" and "Valse Adieu" are simply PERFECT. All the vocals and instruments are great and Celine's voice sounds amazing. I'm really crazy about this album... :in_love:

I just got it on CD. I really like it. I like "Mon Homme" and "Le Vol d'un ange".  I'll have to listen to it again to let you know about the rest but those two stand out so far.
