I love the stage, after many years is always difficult to create something different

I cant wait to hear the submissions of my country, Portugal, there are 2 Great Singers there, unfortunately I think all songs will be in Portuguese and "we" will be at the end of the list like in the past if they don't change there mind

In my country, RTVE has chosen Edurne to represent Spain at the Eurovisión with a song completely in Spanish wich is called 'Amanecer'(engl. 'Dawn').

We will be able to listen to the song on the First of March, at RTVE web: http://www.rtve.es/t...ion/eurovision/

From what we've heard (that five second snippet), Spain seems to be putting quite an effort this year. Something tells me Edurne's song will be a killer.

that stage is so different from the ones we had in previous years

I loved Suzy's song from last year (the audience in Copenhagen liked it a lot too).

btw, so far my favourite has been Elhaida Dani from Albania, too bad it the final version the song's lyrics will be adapted into English.

The Dutch entry is written by Anouk (who performed and wrote Birds two years ago).



I am not a big fan of the song. Traincha is an ok singer, but I don't think she'll make it that far.
The refrain is chatchy, but you have to hear the song a few times to appreciate it.

Some tying in ESC fun facts; Anouk is a close friend to Traincha (Treintje) who has formed a succesful duo Total Touch with brother Tjeerd in the 90's. Tjeerd is a music producer and is married to Edsilia Rombley, yes the Dutch entry in 1998 (4th place Hemel en Aarde) and in 2007 (On top of the world only 35 of the 42).

I don't know how it actually works, but this technology, called the Kinetic Sculpture, is gonna be part of the Eurovision set.

I agree their voices are almost identical. I think it might be Slovenia's selling point that makes them stand out from the rest.

absolutely, too bad Celine doesn't seem to have any affinity to Eurovision any more, she speaks of it so rarely.

it'd be cool if she was invited one year to perform as an interval act in the final.   I'd die, literally.
