Pretty sobering piece about what happened after her messy breakup with PKP, how her lucrative TV career collapsed & she nearly went bankrupt, got trailed by private investigators...oy.

Seems the new show that premiered this Jan has been doing well, and I thought "oh, maybe Celine will show up while she's in town", but alas, seems that's not to happen. I wonder how her relationship with Julie is these days. Was it all through Rene? Or PKP? One's got to wonder.

It's such a coincidence that this topic is coming back now, as Julie attended Thérèse Dion's funeral yesterday in Laval. I would have loved to see a photo of her reunited with Céline :cry:

Wow, the girl really went through a hard time, such a sad story actually. And that thing about a private investigator was something quite disturbing to read...

I really don't understand why Céline hasn't done anything with her again, an interview, a documentary... Anything would have helped Julie tremendously during that difficult time. I remember we all first suspected things weren't right between Céline and Julie back in May of 2016, when it was announced that Marie-Claude Barrete would interview her for Céline Maintenant, instead of Julie. But who knows, maybe Céline had nothing to do with that decision :huh:

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea she went through so much. It's so sad to hear. I never really paid her much attention but it's so sad hearing about a woman losing everything because she is no longer with a man who had connections. I wish her all the best.

I watched the clip of her interviewing Ellen on her first episode. It was actually not bad. I like Julie. I would probably watch her show if I understood French better.

I knew things didn't go well after the breakup but didn't really follow to know alm the details.  I was never a fan of PKP as something just didn't sit well with me.
