I would love to see TPOTD in the Vegas show. Once it's being done in Vegas, it is far more likely that they will keep this Japanese favourite for the Asian tour.

However, I don't really want to see IS again.

If they do TPOTD and get a choir on hologram to sing with her, then why not do CTM as well and keep the choir on screen for that too? It would fit perfectly in the show, maybe as the ending to the white dress segment instead of ABM...

I like Veronica, I really do...some of her impressions are spot on, I just don't think she does a good Celine.

Exactly! She's good at what she does, but Celine just isn't her best. It sounds good, but it's not exactly like Celine.

It's nothing like Celine lol....I think Laura Landauer is the top notch Celine impersonator. She's more of a caricature of Celine...but she sounds how a Celine impersonator should sound.

I understand some things were delayed due to Rene health, but to add "The Power Of The Dream" AFTER the Olympics ended this year would be a very, very odd decision, in my opinion.  I'd rather have Celine's team hold off on adding that song to her Vegas show until 2016.  In the meantime, if she wants to add something with an inspirational flare to it, I'd pick "A World To Believe In" or "Then You Look At Me."

I am not really impressed by Celine's rendition of SSDA in this bootleg. But I usually never am with this song. There are always some notes that Celine slightly sings off key and her pronounciation is too throaty/nasal. The last flawless performances of this song were in the 1998 part of the LTAL tour. The one on the ONCP DVD was brilliant.

But it's a difficult song to sing, with the quick follow up of notes, which are going everywhere. I always love the atmoshpere during this song in French concerts, but I can imagine that this would not work as well in Vegas, especially since Celine doesn't sound at her best in this song. I think a more powerful French ballad or any song from Sans Attendre would be better, what about Si je n'ai rien de toi? Wouldn't that be something? Or if that would be too much trouble with making arrangements for the band: Celle Qui M'a Tout Appris perhaps?

  I am glad to see someone else not thrilled with the alternative song choice.   As much as like SSDA, time to put it aside and use a current song from Sans Attrendre.

Not exactly sure about that. She should only perform Sans Attendre in her French concerts. Where as songs from D'eax and SSDA were also big and sold in the US. If anything add a D'eax song to the show considering it (The French Album) was actually released here. But SSDA (song) is her french My Heart Will Go On. Everyone loves this song and must hear at at every French Concert, or most of the time. Same with MHWGO, its meant to be performed everyone she goes.

I think its a great replacement and the rendition is priceless from what we have heard of it. NMQP is an cover which everyone wants Cèline to get rid of, right?

Well I am happy with the change. She performed NMQP beautifully but I think it became to dramatized over time, she didn't even want to do the song in the beginning. These are just my thoughts of course.

Think it's difficult because she needs a French song that is well known, hers or a cover,  that is emotional and has that pause and intensity at the end. I can understand why SSDA was chosen.

If she uses a choir than she should open with "thankful" she can still drop the curtain after the part: and i caught rainbows etc etc...

And then there it is, her orchestra and a full choir...

I do have to agree. PQTME is majorly known here. She's done that a lot in the past. But SSDA is great, and it's a break from the norm, which I like!

SSDA is one of Celine's greatest recordings in my opinion. So stunning and simple and eloquent. It showcases different cadences in her voice that an average Celine fan might not be used to hearing (especially if they're not familiar with her French discography). I am thrilled that it's in the setlist now. NMQP was lovely -- but it had its run -- and we have many lovely bootlegs of that song. It would be lovely to see more and more of Celine's own "classics" added into the show, rather than putting in any additional covers. I hope that SSDA is still part of the setlist when I return to Vegas...whenever that might be! While it would be even more magical to be surrounded by thousands of native French speakers, singing along with her -- it would still be surreal to hear this song live.

I would love to hear her sing Les Petites Pieds de Lea in Vegas someday because Lea is my name except mine has an h at the end but it's pronounced the exact same

SSDA is a good choice (at least something different this time) but I'd rather she did something else from her repertoire. It doesn't have to be a ballad nor a melancholic song.

I don't know about NMQP, tbh.  Initially I fell head over heels in loooove with it!  I adored it; I was always listening to it nonstop.  Fast-forward a year later, to this day, I dislike the song.  Celine tends to over-dramatize it.  Yes, showing emotions are an essential part of being a singer - it is how you connect with your audience.  But I think Celine went way overboard with it.

TPOTD is one of the songs I never ever thought I'd see her perform again! It's like the song that made me fall in love with her so... Can't wait to hear the performance! I'm sure her new rendition will be stunning

I'm not sure what to think of this change. "Ne me quitte pas" was one of my personal highlights when I was at the show in Vegas. I would have loved it if they had replaced one of the English songs with "S'il suffisait d'aimer" (or another French song). I think two French songs would not be too much, given that it's Céline's native language!?
