What a busy weekend.  Was bartender last night at a friend's choir concert and tonight going out to eat and the going to a Backstreet Boys concert.

Awesome! Was it a good show? I had no idea the Backstreet Boys were still together, but used to love them -- I think my favorite song of theirs is "The One," though I just put parts of the Black and Blue CD on my iPod.

I know, I didn't think they were still together/touring either. I saw Nick Carter on the Doctor Phil show a few months ago where of course he joined the "thousand celeberties in rehab" club, and talked about the damage it's done to his family/siblings. I'm sorry, but I gotta rep for NSYNC here. Most of you probably remember/know that there was always the NSYNC/BSB fude, and I'm on the other guys' side. I do like a couple BSB songs, including The One and More Than That. Their slower balads, of course. But still, **NSYNC**. I will say BSB still sounds good live, even the harmonies were good. I never would have pegged Del or Sherri as BSB fans, but hey, NSYNC isn't together/touring anymore and BSB is, so there's that!

Their show was fantastic.  They did a really good job.  The only issue I had was the costume change.  They didn't have a good transition.

It was always either NSYNC or BSB and I have to say BSB were the better group.  hahaha

Haha, I do remember the feud!  I think I like BSB songs a bit better, but around the time they were both popular, I was a camp counselor, and my 4th graders did a fabulous (for 9 year olds) dance routine to the song "Bye Bye Bye," so I've always had a soft spot for that song.

Also, I saw N Sync in '99 when they sang with Celine on the Radio City special (the special was filmed before TTWII came out, and I was sure TTWII was an N Sync song, b/c it sounded like a boy band song). And NSync did make that really cute video for Celine that Oprah played in '99 .  .so they're pretty cool

Yes it was a very difficult choice for me however I first saw IACBTMN so that's how I chose it   (just in case you wanted to know lol)

The songs are both excellent, in very different ways . . but since this was voting for the best video, for me, it had to be IACBTMN. Partly because, like Sherri, I saw it first -- but also because everything about that video is so over-the-top and spectacular, and I feel like it's such a perfect essence of Celine the performer.  (The PQTME video is really good, too . . . but her playing with the fire and the little voodoo dolls freaks me out more than the seeing ghosts of her dead lover. . .apparently we all like videos of Celine with serious issues!!)

Also, is it bad that when someone mentions taking a trip to Prague, I say, "That's where Celine Dion filmed IACBTMN!" Totally normal, right?

Totally normal, yes. For a Celineac. When I think Prog, I think of the part in Through the eyes Of The World when she and Rene get in a minor tiny squabble cuz they cannot agree on how to greet the audience. "I want to see the passport." Anyone? lOL Wow, Lisa, you thought TTWII was an NSYNC song. Okay. Interesting. I guess you had not heard of Celine at the time. Oh well, you sure as Hell have now. And again, they're better than BSB. I would play Survivor, boy band addition and NSYNC would probably lose, sadly. I would also play the forum's survivor, but blind people can't see music videos, in case anyone forgot. I'll join you in the next one, what will it be, survivor, Celine albums!??

LOL, I was a CRAZY Celine fan then as I am now - but the filming took place bf TTWII had been released. I'd never heard it and she did it in the show as a duet w. N Sync so I assumed it was an N Sync song.

I went to Prague in 2010... and I only found out last year that the video was filmed there.  haha
