This is sooooo good. I've been drawn into this like a magnet. XO is my jam now, maybe cos it's the holidays and I'm feeling mushy and all right now.

But I think we don't need this topic. What do you guys think? Should I merge it with the Beyonce thread? Lemme know :)

Beyoncé's new self-titled album has become the fastest-selling album ever worldwide in the iTunes Store, according to iTunes and Columbia Records, the singer's record label.

The label released the surprise album at 12 AM EST on the morning of Friday, Dec. 13, exclusively via iTunes.

Columbia reports that the set sold 828,773 copies in its first three days, through the close of business on Sunday night, Dec. 15. Of that sum, 617,000 were sold through the U.S. iTunes Store, which -- as previously reported -- also set a record for the largest week ever for an album.

iTunes is the sole retailer for "Beyoncé" through Dec. 20. According to industry sources, a physical version of the album will start arriving to some U.S.-based brick-and-mortar retailers by Wednesday, Dec. 18. Most physical retailers will receive it by Friday, Dec. 20.

From Billboard: It's official: Beyonce's new self-titled album debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making her the first woman to hit No. 1 with her first five studio albums.

It follows the chart-topping "Dangerously In Love" (2003), "B'Day" (2006), "I Am... Sasha Fierce" (2008) and "4" (2011). All five of her albums also debuted at No. 1.

just listened to the album mmmm not so sure what to think about it though....
many songs got rap .. which i don't really like....
there's only few songs that's not bad but others i'm not so sure....
so far xo and blue stands out for me!
i think i'll only give 2 or 3 out of 5 for this album!

Beyoncé spends second week at number one on the BB 200:

"Beyonce" sold 991,000 in its first 10 days and is (so far) the 12th biggest-selling album of 2013




Beyonce's new self-titled album remains unstoppable on the Billboard 200 chart, as it spends a second week atop the list.

"Beyonce" sold 374,000 copies in the week ending Dec. 22 (down 39%), according to Nielsen SoundScan. It bowed at No. 1 on the previous week's chart, after only three days on sale, with 617,000 sold.

The album was released on an off-cycle Friday, Dec. 13. Its debut on the chart a week ago came from sales in the week ending Dec. 15.

I finally listened to (and watched) the album. Most videos are very cool but when it comes to the sound, this album is not my cup of tea for sure.

You know, I never really paid attention to her looks. I heard LOTS of her songs just trying to find my cup of tea but she's a complete fail to me. And people used to tell me she's so hot and sexy and blan-blah-blah and i never happened to check her looks and then i saw this picture... It came as a strong vomiticious shock. And with all her money, with all the success, with all the people that work with her, stylists and everybody why in heaven's name she looks like THIS?.. The stylists decided to mock at her?..

I've seen her MV for Drunk In Love, very predictable, Bee with bikiny, nothing new and boring. And the song i really can't handle it, it was sooo bad for my taste.
