because she doesn't have to hold it for that long at the end she does some kind of run that's always easier for her, then hits the high (or higher note) for a while and goes down to B4 where she stays the longer.

She does hold it a little and also sings a higher note in River deep mountain high and it's always live and it's almost as long as the ABM note.

but it's a lot more mixed (doesn't sound as powerful)... and lately she's been adlibing though that note sometimes too!!

I guess she's found a technique to hit those very high notes but she can't hold them for that long... at least those above C5....

Why is it every time celine has a great performance and the views are rocketing, they pull it down or they make it hard to watch with small screen?

If this was recorded as well as broadcast on December 17th . . .it's so strange b/c the day Celine did the Voice was the day they found out Rene had cancer again - and it was their 19th anniversary.  And the day he found out he had cancer in 1999, it was Celine's 31st birthday.  How weird that both times they found out on a milestone day for them. Still amazed at how Celine gave such a great performance with all that was going on in her life.

I had not noticed that either but now I have a whole new respect fot how amazing that performance was and how she did it. The thing is too, when she was up there playing it up with Tessanne, whom I was rooting for all the way, I genuinely think for just a second she let herself have some fun, mean it and be in to it. How she did any of it is so and forever beyond me. But so sad about these date coincidences. I just hope that, when it is his time, it's NOT on a big day that already has some prior significance.

Yes I just thought about that too.  How ironic both times were a special day for them. Still in awe of her voice performances like nothing was wrong.  Just sad for them that she had to do that when probably she wanted to process the news.

I wish there was a video on you tube of Celine walking backstage wearing that white dress. When Celine was on The Voice, it showed a quick thing of her walking backstage after performing LCMM and she looked so good.

Does that footage exist anywhere?

I was just thinking about her performance w/NeYo.....if that was recorded the same day I wonder if he knew.  Looking back on it, it seems like he gave her a pretty big hug at the end.

It might have been, but I don't think so. I think you are thinking of the white pantsuit Celine wore in one of her French concerts that Annie took a pic of backstage?

I don't remember seeing a pic from Annie backstage from The Voice, in the white dress. At least not the footage I'm looking for anyways. I think she did post a pic of Celine in the Incredible performance dress, backstage on The Voice though. That might be what your thinking of?
