my favourite was at the Oscars, and im always shocked at how tiny her waist looks in that black dress!!! and she chest thumps the "heart of the ocean" !!

The chest pound is brilliant. How often did she do it in the MHWGO performances? Was it just the Oscars and Live with Pavoritti performances, or did she do it at others one too? Let's post the chest pound performances.

She also did it during most (if not all) of the performances during the 'Let's Talk About Love World Tour'.

I liked this song the first million times I heard it . .. it's just been too overdone now --and if you're a hardcore Celine fan, you've heard it 10 trillion times, and it just loses its impact.  Back in '98, when it was the most-played song on radio ever (I mean that quite literally - i think it was a record for most-played song), I got to the point where I could not only sing along, but also take breaths at the exact same moment as Celine. And I loved all the remixes with movie dialogue in them. .but eventually, even the best song can be overplayed .

It definitely is overdone! Of course just my opinion. :wacko:
I do wonder if she sometimes gets the wrong information from her "people"? What I mean is do they keep telling her that audiences want to hear it? You know how she said in the Katie interview she doesn't listen to everyone.

she should unplugged from certains opinions and do an unplugged show

No matter how many times she sings this song or we fans listen to it she will still for the large part keep performing it, especially in Vegas, because you have people who aren't die hard fans like us and who WANT to hear it performed when they go to see her. As much as I think its been overplayed, seeing her perform it live is like listening to it for the first time all over in my opinion.

I almost forgot that she can sing the song beautifully even in 2002. But then, just A YEAR later, her voice in MHWGO Vegas version is the worst thing in her career.

Thanks for posting this, I had almost forgotten this version. I think I wouldn't be too presumptuous if I said that this was one of the last times she performed the song with real emotion, feeling it, before she became the singing-robot she is today when she performs it.

2002, what a year! She just returned with a rested voice which was like a thunder, like a lion imprisoned in his cage eager to show his roaring. And she nailed it :wub: After this, almost all the performances of her song sound just flat :down:

As much as its overdone and it's way down in my list of Celine favourites , I know when I see Celine sing this in Paris for the first time I will probably burst into tears!
Sang it at a karaoke bar in Toronto one night and I mean EVERYONE loves this song even if they don't admit it! There's defiantly a soft spot in everyone's hearts for this song! Fan or non fan lol
