The album just came to U.S. Spotify and Apple Music! Not sure if it's anywhere else. Didn't look like it was on iTunes.

So Mariah is playing Festival d'été de Québec on Thursday - on the main stage at Plains of Abraham. (https://www.feq.ca/e...st/mariah-carey)

I wonder how that's going to go. And I wonder if she could sell out a venue of that size in Quebec, if it weren't for the festival setup (festival passes are just CAD$105 / US$80 for the full 11-day festival).

Well the festival holds over 135,000 people according to their Wiki article... I’ll be surprised if Mariah clears 30,000 tickets if im being honest

Well if the 11 day pack costs less than 100 bucks I suppose people may come just to check for "free".

Mariah is a legend of the 90s. If I could attend one of her concerts without paying an additional cent, I'd come 😉

Well, from what I've seen, both on social media & press, there is a lot of "huh, Mariah at FEQ? "- type reactions.
According to this, it's also her first time in Quebec. I assume that means Quebec city? Surely she has played Montreal before, no?

Actually people here did not expect to see such a world-renowed star playing at the FEQ, that's why people were surprised and I can assure you it wasn't in a negative way.

It's indeed her first time here in Quebec City but in the past she has played twice in Montreal City (one show in 2006 during The Adventure Of Mimi Tour and another one in 2010 during the Angels Advocate Tour).

Yeah, unnecessary, to say the least.

It's too bad about the weather tonight; no rain yet, I think, but grey and cold in QC.
From what I'm reading, the audience is very small for the opening acts so far (a shame, as Nikki Yanofsky is a huge talent, as is Daniel Caesar who's up next).
I can't say I really know any of Mariah's music beyond the obvious few songs, but I do hope she gets a warm reception in Quebec. Seems mother nature might stand in the way of that though.

Separately, one of Tuesday's big shows was a celebration of Eric Lapointe - a number of others were there to sing with him, including Marc Dupre, Ginette Reno, Lara Fabian, an may others.
It's been a while since we've seen Celine at one of these big Quebecois parties - hope that changes soon!

Yeah! To be honest, thats so her scene. I could imagine her doing a show like that with Eric, Lara, Ginette, Marc etc. Like a “Legends Of Canada” show lol (well, not Lara but... same sentiment)

She is Belgian, born and raised.
Which is funny, because she's not very known here at all (at least not in my part of the country).

But she is a Canadian citizen.

Oh I remember Céline's Taking Chances Tour... If I remember right she's on a french speaking country too. While it's raining she's singing S'il Suffisait D'aimer and people stayed too and singing along as well

The end of Mariah's concert was cancelled, because of the rain. She had just finished the song Hero. The concert was almost over.
Her fans were luckier than Imagine Dragons' ones. Their concert yesterday was cancelled after 2 songs.
In 2015, the Foo Fighters had their show cancelled after 4 songs.
Mother Nature sometimes is quite angry here in Quebec City!

I was at that concert! The rain made it magical! I will never forget it!!

What a concert! And the album artwork if just perfect! I’m so blessed i was able to be there that night.

I bought the dvd of course, but i’m away from it and also dont have dvd player here anyway. Its on youtube but the quality is bad. Do we have a link where i could download it QH? I tried buy it online, its advertised that amazon prime has it, but when i’m trying to purchase it says: “this title is unavailable due to expired rights”

Apple tv store brings me automatically to amazon prime, which doesn’t have the rights anymore ☹️
