Talk about misheard lyrics . . when this show first aired, I truly thought they were all saying "Divas" instead of "Jesus" (Well, the show was called Divas Live!).  Eventually I realized why Aretha said they were going to have church . .and felt pretty ridiculous!

I could never really understand what they were saying either!  Kind of sounds like Divush.  Gosh I feel so old, I remember watching this on TV and then buying the CD when it came out.

I love
-"Le Blues du Businessman" from the millenium concert w/Bruno
-I'm not sure of the name of the song, but the one she did w/Ginette Reno.....such powerful voices in Quebec

I'll have to do some thinking on her English ones....

Of her video "live" duets of recent years, I have to say my fave is from AND: "All The Way" w/Frank Sinatra.  I adore this song and I know it has a special meaning for her and Rene as well.  :wub:
