to Unison with big (potential) hits and beautiful album tracks. Even though TCOML really confirmed her status as a Diva,
this album paved to way to big power ballad hits like TPOL, IACBTMN etc. Also her most original album because only IYAMT is a cover to my knowledge.
The videos made for this album were all so good in their own way, even the quirky LCMM! I hope one day we'll get all these videos on dvd!
Full of long songs, strong lyrics, pure vocals and awesome single covers! I wish we would one day get more photo's from that shoot.
I love the fact that the album cover was actually just a candit shot! Céline was still waiting for the hairdresser when the light hit her just right
and the picture was made.... It shows the relaxation that this album brings.

1. Introduction (1:15)
The only studio album with an intro. I still wonder why they made this. And of course who came up with the poem and music.
The introduction is one of the reasons why this album is so coherent.
2. Love Can Move Mountains (4:53)

The only old song she still loves to perform. I don't care in which tour, they are all awesome to me. Her best uptempo song, because
she can sing every part of the lyric without any big chances in notes or with any playback. It still gets the crowd going and just belongs in the setlist.
I'm surprised it wasn't a bigger hit in the day, because the song is uplifting and fun.
3. Show Some Emotion (4:29)
A strange song as a second song... It's a great song but it would fit better at the end of the album.
4. If You Asked Me To (3:54)

A great strong song, that got its attention till the end of the FIY tour. Eventhough it's not really known as a James Bond song, I would have liked to have seen a part of the song into the JB medley. I remember the video clip being used in a commerical for Arrow Classic Rock back in the day. But the last time they actually played Céline was probably in 1998
5. If You Could See Me Now (5:07)
A beautiful strong song, with good lyrics, emotion and vocals. I love these long songs! So much better than songs of 3 minutes...
Would love to hear a live version of this song one day!
6. Halfway To Heaven (5:05)
So sensual! So dreamy! A perfect example of a calm song, that Céline doesn't always need big notes. I love the build up and the bridge.
7. Did You Give Enough Love (4:21)

This song could have been a big hit. It had this amazing and weird video clip where Céline looked so sexy and strong!
A shame the plan to release this as a commerical single was abandonned in favour of promoting the snooze fest When I Fall In Love.
8. If I Were You (5:07)
Same as Halfway To Heaven. Beautiful lengthy song, but never at one point becomes boring.
9. Beauty And The Beast (4:04)

After WDMHBN her big world wide break through that made her into a household name. After 20 years neither the song or the movie has lost any of it's magic.
I read that they choose Céline because they didn't have any money left for a big known singer!
I like Céline's part of the story more; that she at first didn't want to do it, because Dreams To Dream fell through and she was fed up with animated movies.
But of course after seeing the movie, she couldn't resist
10. I Love You, Goodbye (3:33)
A very emotion song, with which Céline could probably relate to a lot back in those days. Her relationship with René was still a secret, and she
probably has thought about leaving him because it wouldn't work out due to so many reasons. She put her heart in this song.
11. Little Bit Of Love (4:27)
Awesome up beat song that would have been a pleasure to hear live. Simple but effective lyrics.
12. Water From The Moon (4:39)

One of my favourite songs ever! The notes and emotions in this song are so great. It's a song that regularly pops into my head.
The videoclip is very cool too! With a hot guy of course! What I don't understand is that this song wasn't released on a commerical cd single, but only on vynil and cassette.
Too bad cos this song deserved more attention than it got.
13. With This Tear (4:12)
WOW Prince of all people writes a song for you! DAMN! Not a lot can say that. But as usual this remarkable thing is forgotten.
I never really liked this song so much, but in the recent years I really started to like it. It got a bit of attention in 2000 by putting it on the Collectors Sersies Vol. 1
but that's the last time this song will get any credit I'm afraid.
14. Nothing Broken But My Heart (5:56)

OMFD! How I love this song!! It's a song made by a golden 90's duo: Diane Warren and Walter Afanasieff. I love the fact that it seems
that everything is just fine, that she doesn't miss him or cares at all, untill that great bridge:
So if you still think that I need you baby
I don't think about you
I'm happy now without you
Oh baby, you might think my world's been torn apart Oh but you'll see that
Nothing's broken, nothing broken but my heart
Probably her only sarcastic song in her career. I would die if she ever sang it live again! It's a shame this awesome song is totally forgotten.
Especially when you know that this song became number 1 on two charts: Canadian RPM Adult Contemporary and US Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks.
It should at least have made it to My Love!
15. Where Does My Heart Beat Now (4:30)
Not an original Celine Dion track, but added as a bonus to inspire people to buy the album I guess. Of course this song is a gem. It kinda fits the album to me, because it was on my album when I bought it, but now that I have versions of Celine Dion without it, it is so much better. NBBMH wasn't written as the album finish for nothing!
But of course this wasn't the last time Sony made a stupid decision...
Great review Davey. Thanks a lot for your personal input. The videos to this album were just so good!! Each and every one of them has something special about it. I think Nothing Broken But My Heart is one of my fav. ever little unknown gems.
There aren't enough video's with people doing "Ring A Ring O' Roses" in them these days.
