The song that I can sing in my Céline voice even though I'm a guy is "MHWGO."  I accidently went high while singing in my normal voice and I tried the song in my new found voice and it' works.  People may say I sound like a chipmunk, but I don't think I do.  Sometime if  I record the song with me singing it, I will upload it for everyone to listen to.

So we have a new nickname for you now

I'd love to hear your version of MHWGO and am curious to your Céline voice!! Just be careful not to ruin your voice with these extremely high notes!!

I've tried to sing "To Love You More" but my voice got raspy.  I can only do it on a few songs, that's all.

i can do "To love you more" very good actually i put the karaoke and i take something in my hand(like a mike) and star to sing...and i love how it sounds i hope i'll be able to record it...i so love that song!

That's funny, I have recorded just that song yesterday night   Just thought the end wasn't good enough yet, as it was late and I couldn't yell as loud as I wanted (poor neighbours...!). So I'll try to improve the yelling part tonight and maybe then post it as well. So this is "Je t'aime encore" week at McCelines

OOoh how embarrassing - I have mixed up "To love you more" with "Je t'aime encore" in my last posting!! *lolol* I'm getting OLD!!

"Je t'aime encore" was what I tried last night.  My "To love you more" sucks so much that I have never even tried to record it. Haha. But you inspired me. I'll give it a try when I'm back home. Oh I wish I wouldn't have to sit here in the office. I'd rather go home and sing the whole day long....!!!!   Can someone please send me home???

Hiiihihihi... I did it. On a very melancholy night I lighted some candles and recorded "Je t'aime encore". I doubt that after this night my neighbours will also continue to love me.    Anyway I felt pretty dramatic and here is the result.

There is a very ugly "plus fort" at the end that sounds like Hulk Hogan after the fight but probably that's the difference between having an own collosseum or being a legal secretary yelling in her living room while her neighbours are knocking on the ceiling with broomsticks *lololol*

Very good version of "Je T'aime Encore."  I love it.  That's one of my favourite Céline songs.

This is a very interesting topic!! Well, the last 6 months i do vocal lessons. Among the songs that i try to sing as excercise are Falling into you, The colour of my love, My heart will go on and my favorite Immortality that i sing it at Celine's octave, 2 notes lower. My voice is unusual high, thats why my teacher and me took those songs in my lessons.

Unfortunately i don't have a microphone to record a shample but i'll take one very soon

Thank you sooooo much!!! You are being sooo nice to me   *blushing* and it means a great big lot to me. Before you I have never let anyone hear my "experiments" except a handful of very close friends.

I tried and tried and still didn't manage the highest note at the very end of the song, so I have changed that a bit. I mean, I kind of hit it but it sounds like trampling on a cats tail. The end is too high anyway. Errrrrghhhh I desperately need to take  singing lessons again... It's too long ago *lol*. When I started them I told my vocal coach that I want to be able to sing as high as Celine, and that I wouldn't care if blood came spraying out of my throat. She's still disgusted by this sentence. Mwhahahaha....  

Maybe I'm just getting a bit melancholic. But even though I have only been a member of this forum for such a short time I feel you're all being really great!!!!!     And not just because you're saying nice things about my singing!!! *lolol*   You're all so much fun to be with, And I love listening to everybodys uploaded songs. It's so great to share them and hear what everybody creates at home. One day we should all puzzle together a song, how about that??

Maybe one of you that knows how to make a cd of all the songs should make one and try to sell it on ebay.  That's just an idea.

put the songs on a cd is so very simple...i do that everytime i want a cd with celine's songs that i like most...but i don't sale them! i just make them for myself and people that can't afford to buy every celine cd...just songs picked from every album...but i never sell...it's not lega!

Pearly, very nice job. You have a smooth tone, some good flexibility, and good pitch. It's evident that you have taken lessons and can use your throat and chest properly.

PLUS! I really liked the ad-lib you did at the end when not hitting the high note. Good little vocal riff...which shows musical ability.

   Oh no, that's bad!! I so understand how you feel Raluca. If you can't record when you feel like it but have to when somebody else just hast a bit time. For me what and when I sing/record is always totally depending on my mood. Sometimes I don't feel like singing at all for a week, then again I could sing the whole day long.

But whenever you manage to record something again we're all looking forward to hear the results

ok I have recorded the song" The power of Love" in my version. I know that I'm not the best singer and I haven't made this audio really professionally. So you can hear Celine in the background singing and the quality is really bad. Sorry about that but I don't know where I get free Celine karaoke songs from and i also don't have a studio where I can record songs......
