Don't cry! hehehe. If you would really like to sing why don't you start taking singing lessons? You could look for a singing coach, or maybe a music school. I think everyone can learn to sing. You just have to be diligent. In order to sing you need to have control of your body and you can learn that with singing lessons. Maybe you should do that...

I've tried. I have the vocal chords of a manic seagull when it comes to singing. My voice is very soft, not like a baby or high-pitched, but I just can't yell. I'm not made for it. Great pitch, but everything else is bad. :shoot:

But I'd love to hear what anyone else can do.

Well that's a great idea... I sure do sing celine's songs.... my peeps said my voice is ok a little bit high enough.. LOL but i haven't tried to record it... I'm afraid to it... i don't know... I guess Im just affraid to be embarassed... LOL...

Anyways its a great idea,,, again.... Yeah I also wanna hear what anyone else could do...  :D

sounds like a great idea...i also sing celine's songs...every minute!  :lmao: but i never tried ti record myself singing celine's songs... :ermm: i will probably try and i'll let you know when it's ready so you can listen to me...but i'm not a pro so don't expect of much :msn-tongue: never took singing lessons...

Hi everyone. I'm a brandnew member of the board. I'm just starting to go through the threads and this is my first posting  :bye1:

I love singing too and can hardly sit and just listen to a Celine song without singing along. She was the main reason for me to start singing lessons. Luckly for me my boyfriend is a music producer so from time to time I have the chance to record something in the studio (which would "usually" cost a fortune I could never afford). In the meantime I even have the possiblilty to record myself at home (I think he gave me the equipment as a relief for his ears and nerves). Recording Celine songs myself always makes me realize once more how brilliant she really is.  It may sound good during the first verses but when it gets up to the really high notes...  :shy: Yikes!! However, I have a recording of me singing Think Twice that's not soooo bad it immediately kills your ears so if you really want to hear I could upload it when I'm back home tonight (writing from work at the moment  :D )

but PLEASE be merciful with me!!  :shy: The recording is about three years old, I think, and unfortunately during that period my boyfriend experienced a bit with that vocoder "Cher"-effect so he put this over my voice a few times on the song after we had recorded it.

Now I finish this posting a bit scared because there's really not many people even around my friends/colleagues whom I ever let hear any of my recordings.  :sick:  :whistling1: But there's always a first time so here we go...

P.S. Oh I just remember when we were to record the "Are you thinking of you or us - BAAAAAYYBEEEEEEEEEEE *screamlikehell*" part the colleague of my boafriend came in and left immediately, with a visible shock on his face... Eh... to say it cautious: We had to repeat that part "a few" times....

I would love Forum Idol on here!  I personally have recorded about 20 CD's and some with Celine songs.  I think I have a pretty good voice, I don't know haha.  But here is a clip of me singing "My Heart Will Go On" about a month ago...

I finally listened to your LTAL recording (still haven't heard MHWGO yet) and I liked it  :) One can hear you put a lot of emotion in it.  Must still listen to My heart will go on and am really curious what it sounds like. It's a bit difficult for me I think... you know - the last verse definitely  :sick:  :msn-tongue:
