Just back from a trip to America and was at the June 7th show of Celine. First of all I would like to say that there is no comparison between AND and Celine. Both are totally different shows and I must say I preferred Celine because the show is more about her. I saw AND back in 2003 and there was just too much going on on the stage and it was hard to take in everything.
Celine looked beautiful and sounded even better. Rene was in the audience (frorch 3) as was Sir George Martin. Celine introduced him as she was about to sing the Reason and said about him producing the song and he stood up. This is the first time I have saw Rene in the flesh and I must say he is heavier looking than his photos.
After the show he left with Sir George and about another 12 people who were sitting with them and they went through a door near the right hand side of the stage. Obviously a party was going on backstage. How I wanted to join in.
I thought all of Celine's outfits were gorgeous except the black James Bond dress as it made her look really really thin and not at all flattering. when she went to sing Mr. Panini song the curtain opened too soon and two ladies were at her feet trying to arrange her dress. She made a joke about the perils of showbiz!
I am glad she changed her usual french song but must admit I didn't like the new one. I know everyone is raving about it but I found it dull and boring and yes she did cry towards the end of it. When she passed through the audience a little girl gave her a present in a small purple box. When she got on stage she thanked her and said she would make sure she would take it home.
Before she sings the Michal Jackson tribute 3 of the band play cellos at the front of the stage. They were brilliant as was the water effect at the end of MHWGO.

If I had to rate the show out of 10 I would give it a 9 as I still believe she shouuld have included more of her own songs. Yes it's nice to hear her sing other songs but I personally wanted Then you look at me and Just Walk away. When we were leaving I went to find the waxwork but couldn't find it. I asked an attendant and they said it has been put away for the night. However they did have a perfume machine were if you push a button it will squirt out a sample of some of her perfumes.
If you get a chance to go to the show I recommend it. I know some people aren't happy about her going back to Vegas but it is a great show with great music and a complete contrast to AND. I called into the shop outside the venue and brought home some goodies. I did purchase one of her watches and the program of the show was well done. However much of the clothing range I thought was of poor quality and very expensive and not much stuff with anything of the new show on it. Still selling some of the AND products as well as some of the old programs.
There were a few empty seats in the row behind me and there are apparently some tickets left for frorch but the lady at the box office said most shows are sold out. So to anyone going soon have a great show - you're in for a treat.

Is this a proper bootleg from this performance? The end of Power of Love is different. I wonder if it was edited. If it was, they did a good job. I have kind of a percise ear for those types of things.
