i had it in my boutique bag on the floor with the top folded over so no one saw it, some japan guy and girl i think kept getting up to go the bathroom or something and i had an aisle seat in FORCH4 Row DD so im like saying to myself you better not bump my bag or ill flip hehehehe

I loved the ABM ending, not just the final part but the whole ending was changed up. What I did notice was the "big" note they're using is taken from the Phoenix Taking Chances show where her voice cracks a little just as the drum beats come in. I went back and checked on Tyler's shows and it's the same, just harder to tell due to the distortion. Maybe they thought it makes it seem more authentic?

By Phoenix you mean the same playback as every other show in the Taking Chances Tour?? :P

Her voice cracks in the original playback recording, the only reason you hear it in the Phoenix video is because they took out all background noise and just played the raw vocals with no echo/autotuning, to make it sound like she was really ill during the high note.  If you watch a bootleg from the actual Phoenix concert, her voice leading up to the high note doesn't sound as bad with all the echo...

This new show features exactly the same playback. In fact, it's the only playback in the entire show that isn't new. :thumbsup2:

Yeah they should change it ASAP, it sounds completely horrendous. Her current voice actually sounds better and the transition is too obvious, it sounds like she's singing the big note from a different room (which I suppose she is.....lol )

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. Thomas, were you there??? When I heard it I was horrified because it seemed VERY obvious that the note came from another source. Other playbacks are not noticeable at all and sound just like they're coming form her mic, but this one the audio levels and everything were just way different.

No I wasn't there, I've not been to Vegas yet and probably won't until late in the run. There's just something about that note though, it just sounds.....dull. Like too quiet or somehow not as crisp as the real voice before and after it.

Yeah. That's the feeling I had there. It sounds even more diferent in person. It's like instead of it being stereo it's mono ...or something. Hell, I don't know. The echo isn't there. It's just very different.

I think you were right in that instead of using the actual playback, they're using the TV performance, which is stupid. With the playbck there was a smooth transition (even if she did sing the word "any" live and sometimes that was heard), but with this there is an entire half second or so of silence that is not there. It's very awkward. It's just one 10 second Eb5 and based off how amazing her voice sounded I know she is more capable of doing it now than she was in 1997, so she needs to just sing the damn note. It's not like The Reason or Goldfinger which is packed with a million notes. This is one note we're talking about.
