Hi,

I read it on a French forum. There was no link to a video so it's just hearsay. If she did say it, she may have said it to a French journalist or to some other journalist who is not part of the official television broadcast of the Oscars. There are of course many journalists and paperazi there. I do remember that years back she made a comment like: there is only 1 thing that they are asking first, which is "what are you wearing?", which annoyed her a little bit, as if the Oscars are only about clothes and not about the people and the movies. So it's also possible the French comment was about that Oscar edition in the past and not this one.

Vic-glad someone clarified what Céline said as she was turning away from the camera. I just signed on.

Javito, I don't know which photo(s) revealed her calves but Céline is in great shape from head to toe including her voice.

I decided to take my time before writing my comment on celine's performance and i'm glad i did it, because as time goes by i just realize more and more what a classic performance i witneseed.

everything was perfect, but as always i judge celine's performances only based on her voice - i care less about what she wears or how she looks like (eventho she looked classy and amazing) . as for her vocal performance - her voice was full of emotion yet so strong,powerful and clear. not even a bit nasal, not even a bit broken on the low notes (as it happened too many times in recent years). she just gave a performance of a master, a performance that was technically perfect and proved that at 42, she is still the one best singer in the world, really - i've read somewhere few weeks ago that she said she knows she is not the best singer in the world. well - darling, after this performance there r no doubts regarding your abilities and i fear you are totally wrong.

Now all celine has to do is come back to the studio and record her 2 new albums, before stretching her vocal chords again in vegas.

Saw Fashion Police the other night. They all agreed Celine looked fantastic. Kelly Osbourne said its the best she'd ever see her look. Joan Rivers was "typical" though - banging her chest (very bad impression), and talking about Rene's age/hard to have a baby etc. But hey, that's Joan i suppose.
