It was really emotional, she was absolutely stunning, her voice was incredible! I really really would prefer another song but that's it so i like it anyway! :)

Did anyone manage to record it in HDTV? I found the 720p torrent for last night's show and I'm considering downloading it but I dunno how to get just Celine's performance off of their so I can share it with everyone. It'd prob take forever unless someone can recommend a good program that could cut the file exactly where I need it to.

WOW! when i left here last night this topic was at 17 pages!.. well ill start from where i left off.. i managed to stay awake to see celine on the red carpet live.. and i recorded it on E! ... i woke up thismorning and watched it  :-D  she loooks HOT MOMMA! absolutely stunning! shes the best ive ever seen her , and the performance was just ... I didn't get to watch it :( ....I only wanted to watch it Because Celine was going to be on it...but I did get to see her on the red carpet....She look So Beautiful, I loved her dress :wub: She is amazing :D

just wanted to say that i saw Celine last night on tv, and she sounded amazing. 

They could of kept her on the screen while they were showing the deas people... That was stupid from them (oscars) i think...
i still have to see the red carpet, i saw a pic,

Looking through the footage right now. And the red carpet look: stunning! This must be her best look ever on the Oscars. She looks like a true Hollywood icon. She even outshines Angelina Jolie, and so with class.

The colour is amazing on her. The dress is mature, yet sexy. The fabric is great.

And the hair is superb!!

I downloaded a sample of the 720p rip and the quality is amazing! I just wish I knew how in the heck to extract just Celine's part so I can post it for you guys.

well I'm trying to upload them but I keep getting errors on every other photo so it might be awhile before I get them up :( the stupid wireless signal is horrible because of the storm here.

I agree with some of the previous comments from jmerk2010, this place is awesome but not always what I expected in the mix of opinions. Very well said!! I get that some might not like it, or enjoy the slower songs from her, or might not like her doing covers, but, thats just what they like, and I respect that, and so on. I just don't like it when people say that her performance was boring, or, that she looked old, and needed voice more voice lessons.... That's disrespectful to her... In my opinion! I'm not looking for people to jump all over me, I just feel she deserves more credit than what some are giving her. As you said, her whole purpose for all of this is to make her fan happy. That's what it's been all along. It's just how I feel about her.
