Britney's residency started out as a rumor too so maybe she will have a show at some point too.  When does her album come out?  If it's not already out, maybe she'll announce something then?  However, given that this article was back in February (around Britney's rumors, too) and seeing as how nothing has been announced yet, it makes me doubt this will happen.  I would love to see her there, though!!  So much more than Britney!

That's a good question.  I think she already is given that statement and I get what she was saying.   However, if she does end up in Vegas maybe this idea of a duet between the two wouldn't be so far fetched!

I love, love, love Adele, but ---

A Las Vegas residency after 2 albums??? I understand her fame skyrocketed in way that's unheard of in this day and age. But that just seems very fast. I assume she'd consider it because she has vocal issues when touring. (Which just makes me respect Celine all that much more.)

I know Adele's success is stemming from 19 and 21.
Just as Shania's success relies on The Woman in Me and Come on Over
Just Celine's success stems (primarily) from Falling Into You and Let's Talk About Love

So maybe Adele's just speeding up the inevitable?

I personally think Adele's better off to focus on more new material and not worry so much about concerts.

Regardless -- I hope Celine and Adele work together in some capacity. And it'd be great for Adele to give Celine more shout outs!

I know she has a new album coming out so perhaps it will coincide with that.  I think the main thing I read in one of the articles is that she doesn't want to tour so much anymore since she just had a baby.  The article stated this would give her the opportunity to be settled in one place and still be able to perform live.  Which Celine has also said time and time again....lol.

Yes they are.  There are quite a few people I'd love to see there and Adele is definitely one of them.  Beyonce and Justin Timberlake would be awesome too!  None will ever compare to Celine and what she's done there, though.  Without her taking a chance, Idk if the rest would either.

Does Adele even tour?? I don't know, i'm not really a fan of hers. At least Britney, JT, etc are all used to performing regularly. Adele's not. And her albums have been powerful break-up/broken-hearted (and the like) songs. Wonder what her new stuff will be like now she's happily spoken for and a mum?? Will it be the same kind of style, still powerful?? Maybe after a few more years and another couple of hit albums she'd warrant a LV residency.

She did tour for "21" I don't know about "19" though

I do hope it's something a bit different from the other two albums.  Maybe some happier stuff....doesn't have to all be happy.  And some more upbeat numbers, especially if she's in talks to possibly have an LV residency.  Not sure about tours but I do know being a new mom she doesn't want to travel and take the baby everywhere, which is why I think this is even said to be a possibility.
