Hey everyone,
I just want to take the time to say I'm sorry that the dance is difficult and doesn't make sense in some places. I got really frustrated in the weeks leading up to my deadline in January and honestly the music became somewhat of a blur to me. I'm sorry the steps are off, I'm sorry there's claps written on the off beats, I'm sorry the spins make you dizzy, I'm sorry Part 6 is harder than Part 1, I'm sorry its long or confusing... I think that maybe I wasn't the right person for the job.  
I really did do my best with what skills I had to work with. I just want to thank you all for working so hard even though most of it has been confusing. I think it really shows everyone's love for Celine when you're willing to put time into learning these crazy dance moves! So when the day comes, if it fails for some reason.. I hope that we are all able to walk away laughing or smiling and can one day say, "remember that time we tried to do a flashmob"
Most flash mobs hold an audition for several of the 'beginning' dancers and I'm really proud to say that our group consists of all different skill levels, ages, and sexes.   That makes it awesome in my eyes even if the dance moves suck! This is and was never in any way meant to be a professional flash mob and I'm really proud of all of you for working so hard to pull it off!
I just really wanted to come on here and say that I apologize for some of the crappy moves, nonexistent counts, and confusion! I guess I wasn't the right gal for the job but thats okay because now we know! ha

If you guys have any questions about anything feel free to ask the following people... they are all level 5 dancers and would be glad to answer your questions as they should know the dance best!

If anyone else knows the dance well enough and wants to be a 5, you are more than welcome... we had a few drop out due to schedule conflicts. Most were 'non fan dancers' anyways and just happy to be apart of it but had other plans come up so it would be great to get mostly celine fans in the beginning!

make up something for the beginning part of I'm Alive. The very beginning of the song till the part that Part 1 comes in at... You seem to be the most skilled dancer participating. You'll start right when the music starts.

Chels- we need that beginning part to move into position though- so it's totally fine keeping it the way it is, just in  my opinion.

Chelsey, I think you were absolutely the right gal for the job!! You were willing to put your time and effort into choreographing it for us and making the videos for it!- That's awesome in and of itself. So thank you!
Personally, I didn't think the videos were hard to follow at all . . . I thought you did a great job with them. I thought they were very easy to follow and broke down all the steps perfectly, but that's just me I'm so, so excited for this! And if you need help with anything, just let me know! We're all in this together, girl!

Also, I didn't mean for that to be a High School Musical reference . . . oh well

Don't give yourself a hard time. I think what you've done is great and as a 'non-dancer' I found your steps and videos easy to follow. Your efforts are greatly appreciated by me, and many others too I hope, so no more apologies, OK! Be proud of what you have done for us.

Chelsey, I think you're just getting scared before the event. You did an awesome job, your videos are great and your explanations were easy to follow and consistent. Please, don't give yourself such a hard time for something you did totally right. We're getting out of it smiling and proud of a job very well done and this is going to be because you made it happen!

Well I am dizzy lol but I am getting there. I have to say that part 5 is hard to get down. I tried to find a spot to look at but it is not working For some reason I find it easier to learn without counting but listening to the music so I have been doing that!

I will get it perfect before I leave on Monday if I have to dance from now till then

My father and me are 'non-dancers' and we found your videos easy to follow. You did a great job!!!

I already know the steps, my father has to practice a little more. He's almost there
We are practicing everyday now for a big mirror, even my little sister knows the steps already.
It's so cool when the 3 of us are dancing together! I can't even imagine how great it will be with all the Celine fans in Vegas!

Chelsey believe when i say that you are very talent and you were the right person for the job, I worked with you creating the mix and you knew exactly what we needed for the dance, i couldn't done the mix without your instructions. The video are super easy to follow, for some people is easier to follow the counts and for other is easier to follow the music, the steps are very easy and I think that everybody would've know the steps by heart if they didn't leave the practice for the last minute. I started since the day you posted the videos and I didn't find any problem, I practiced every day since them, i have no complains with the choreography. Everything will be great and we will have a great time doing the flash mob in vegas.

CHELSEY YOU ARE TOTALLY CRAZY!!!!!

You made it possible!!! The Flash Mob is soooooooo cool!!! Your effort' on it is so amazing!!!
And some people are not very talented with dancing ( that includes myself ) but you did a fantastic job with the moves!!
I am totally sure that we will have a blast to Dance together and i really can't wait to get dizzy with you guys... Yay we will Rock Vegas because of you!!!!

Thank you very much everyone. Yes perhaps I am getting a little nervous to have the success of this flashmob on ultimately my shoulders    But I'm very proud to be dancing beside you all!

If you see in most flashmobs... theres always one dancer that starts at the beginning of the song ... she/he is standing in the middle of a busy section of walking people and jumps into a dance move as the music starts, shocking the bystanders. For a while she/he will dance by themselves confusing everyone until 5 or 6 more dancers join in.. which is PART 1. I understand the need to get into place but I invisioned the beginning dancer to start dancing and have the closest 'bystanders' be all 5 level dancers posing as actors... So its simple for them to walk in behind the soloist and start at Part 1.

The way we will set it up is to have this "act as a bystander" continue throughout the performance.... while Level 5 dancers are doing their thing.. level 4 dancers will have walked up and formed the onlooker's circle of people... Not only putting them in a good place to get in their spots but also reinforcing the crowd to form a circle or to come and see whats happening because it appears as though there is already a crowd watching.. I think that by the time 3, 2, and 1 level dancers come in.. it might be cool to have the march out of no where or RUN into the flash mob who knows... we can discuss all that at practice.

With all that being said, does it help you understand what I was thinking? we can try both ways or see what everyone likes the best, I just think it will be easier to get the attention of the crowd if one dancer starts dancing at the beginning of the music instead of playing music with no dancer... ya know? hmmmm. what do you think?

Chelsey, I think you did a fantastic job!Your instructions and videos were easy to follow, and I have never danced before. This flashmob is one of the most exciting things about all of us from the Forum being together( other than seeing Celine!) No matter what, I think we will all have fun, and it will be one of the most memorable moments of all the CDF members being in Vegas. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good question. Feel free to wear WHATEVER you like! Bright colors are always fun especially now that it's being video taped!  
Celine clothing is okay if you like... dance apparel.... blue jeans... again bright colors.... just dress for your own personality! we dont want to all be too matchy matchy with each other or it might give any clues away!
