Here's hoping...but I keep hearing rumors about possible movies, new albums and overseas trips... would that even be on the cards if she thought she was pregnant? Then again perhaps they're not true, or those plans would change.. Idk. I'm at the point of not even caring if we get an album or not, I just want her to have what she REALLY wants, i.e. baby. And if she doesn't announce it soon I'm going to start to worry that something is wrong. I am very, very good at that.

Cancelling plans for the baby? Let's see...
New albums? I don't see that happening, there's no relation or something that impedes one thing with each other
Movie? That's one thing I see more and more further in time, if its gonna ever happen
Vegas? That's what she shouldn't have signed for to do. Let alone if she wasn't sure about what would happen with the baby. That nosense comeback will jeopardize not only the possible birth and enjoyement of the new baby, but many other plans as we already know

Whatever they say, Céline and René have never been able to choose between their career and their private life, the proof is that baby number two, waiting for ten years to see the sunlight. They should have tried after two years of Vegas: Céline was much younger then, and the chances to get pregnant were better than today.
That's why I am not surprised about all this stuff going on, about Vegas, new albums, etc...
But still, I think for now, Céline doesn't care. In time, she'll do it and she'll be happy to perform or record again. Today, she's holding on tightly to the life growing up in her belly (cause there is, for sure), hoping that once the three months will be done, the pregnancy will go well.
And that's all each one of us wish for her. Don't care about the new show. Don't care about new albums. Don't care about movies. There's plenty of time for that. Not for this little kid.

I don't know that she would cancel anything for a baby. But the possibility that she's making plans could mean she's not having one??

She can release one album, two albums this year still, and we won't be surprised because she can do 0 promo, right? It wouldn't be the first time they release an album and do scarce or 0 promo for it so
She can be right now in the recording studio these days and we won't know, and she can be 7 months pregnant and still recording and working in the studio like she did with Sous Le Vent, so, what's the matter? I don't see any
But of course, Las Vegas plans are going to rush everything I think
I have no idea why she wanted to go back to Vegas again and not just enjoy her life doing some work from time to time, but whenever she wants to, not when they told her to do so
But that has nothing to see with the plans for new albums. She can record them and Sony release them for the fans without demanding any efforts from her other than recording the songs in the studio. We've seen that so often lately, and I think we're well used to that now

Let's hope she has this second child that she wants so much. As for her career, she's done enough in music so far, she can take a break.

How will she promote this album if she is pregnant? I Think she should have never signed back to vegas. and just sing when she wants!! she could have recorded albums, do shows for promotions often and do a few cities in Canada and the US to promote this album, with a TV special.

I think you guys should leave the worrying for Celine and Rene. Celine and Rene are grown people and they have been in the business for years now, so I'm sure they know what they are doing. The tickets of the new show went on sale around the same time Celine went through the 6th round of IVF, so Celine and Rene knew that there was a possibilty that she can still get pregnant. As I understand it they are still within their schedule. They planned this whole thing ahead and worked out everything perfectly. I'm sure of it... Celine never would have signed a contract if she didn't really want to do it...

Its NOT that, it's just when she goes to vegas in March, if she is pregnant the baby would be due around December and be only like 3 months old at pemire time and RC was over a year when she went to vegas the first time. Believe i know Celine wouldnt want to make a comeback that soon if she know of a pregnancy she always says that she will give as many chances to the second as the first child. And even if its just part time compared to RC, she is still leaving before the baby is three months old ( A Least a few hours for the show). All im saying is stuff is not adding up.

Celine is going to be fine. She has that whole downstairs dressing room area that's the size of a house, plus her sister to take care of the baby plus stability. I went back to school when my baby was 9 weeks old. He stayed at home with my husband for three hours, twice a week and it was fine. And I nursed too. So don't think Celine won't be dedicating enough time to the new baby.

Céline alert ! Céline alert ! Quebec’s favourite daughter, Céline Dion, will be fêted in a special show on July 10. After the phenomenal success of last year’s tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, a special show combining the talents of two of the superstars in the fireworks business will showcase the music of our Queen of Pop. As always, the best sightlines and the best acoustics are to be had from the paid seats at La Ronde. Keep in mind that a ticket to the fireworks includes all the rides you can stomach, so if you are so inclined, you can go to La Ronde a few hours early and ride the coasters, including the new sea monster ride that skims three metres over Lac des Dauphins at 90 kilometres an hour. Breathtaking scariness

I think Celine will be fine when Vegas starts in March 2011. Celine has already 'been there done that', so I doubt she's be that nervous about the opening night, unlike AND...
Also, this show will take a lot less time to prepare, as there won't be as many dancers, so less choreography time is needed. So if you think about it, if 90% of the show is prepared during her pregnancy (band, dancers, special effects), then all Celine will have to do after she gives birth is jump in and everything else will be ready, so it will just be a case of running through the show and making sure she is ok with the songs and costume changes. So I think that's easily achievable in the 2-3 months they have. Also, Celine may well be atttending rehearsals when she's pregnant and learn her routines in advance so that the full rehearsals will run really smoothly.

I don't think you can compare the first time in LV with this time - as far as babies are concerned. First time CP were building the theatre, and designing the whole show from scratch - which is why it was 3 years between signing contracts and the show premiere. And also, Celine has Linda to look after not just RC and any new addition for the few shows a year she does. I think this time round she'd have more time for a baby than the first time in LV with RC - less shows per year etc.
I'm REALLY hoping she's pregnant, and they announce it soon. Every day i'm checking for news!!

I can see what you mean, about dedicating time to a baby. RC was over a year old when she started Vegas last time, and she wanted to cancel the show so she wouldn't have to leave him. If she's having a baby now it'd be only 3 months old when the show started...still an infant, she'd probably still be breastfeeding, overly emotional, sleep deprived... I can see it being an issue for her, on a personal level.

Exactly what i ment!
IF she is pregnant, and had a hard time with leaving RC when he was over a year old, the new baby would only be months old at the time for the premire. I just wish that Celine hadnt committed herself to Vegas so fast. I Wish she could just Cancel this Vegas show ( I Hate to admit it) i dont think Celine should had ever go back to Vegas. She should just focus on another baby, new albums and promoting them by tv shows, music videos, movies, specials, apperances and some live concerts around the world.
She wouldnt have to work too hard for example in January go do 5 shows in France. in Feb 5 shows in Canada and in March 5-10 shows in the US... Thats just like 30 shows and it would promote the albums better than vegas it would = more promotion which = more radio play which = more success which = staying on top= which = 90s popularity world wide again...and she would tons of time for baby #2 if she is pregnant. Sorry for blabbing lol

I know we have to wait, and all that but... gosh! I am so stressed about all that! lol
Believe me, my father's cousin is on bedrest, waiting for twins, and I absolutely don't care as much as I care for Céline!
Am I crazy?
I watch over and over again the clip from the Wendy Williams show, and I try to get the exact meaning of what she's saying...lol... and she says "You have to wait three months to be sure everything's okay, and it's nerve racking, but I don't want to jinx myself so we prefer to wait"
So, I am quiete sure that she's in those three months, trying not to move so fast so that the babies can stay in, being very careful about everything, and saying, at the end of each day: "Okay, one more. Ten to go now.", and then "One more. Nine to go. Com'on babies, we can do it, Mummy, Daddy, big Bro and Charlie are with you. Stay with us."
Indeed, it really must be stressful. Hope for the best, really. 'm touching wood everyday. This healthy pregnancy has to be.
Can't wait to have an official statement confirming she is and that everything is fine.

This Vegas thing is hardly as demanding as the previous one as there are not as many shows etc. I'm sure she will be fine it's not like a nine to five job or anything and so will be away from The baby or leaving the baby for very long.Plus this is Celine we are talking about she has enough money to make the transition as easy as possible!

I also prefer what you wrote, no Vegas show, new albums with some promo and few shows in some countries, I also think it would be better for her do few shows, no 70 shows in Vegas, she could spent more time with her family in their new house in Florida as she wants it so much, but I don´t think it´s possible, they do LV show, maybe it was very interesting contract who knows ... I´m not big fan of her returning to LV but better than nothing.

I think LV is gonna be a great whole new experience for Céline. For a singer, being surrounded by so many musicians must a real thrill. Plus, the show is gonna be like a never-seen-before-show. They know what they're doing. And she'll be able to manage between her pro life and her personal one.
All I hope for now is for her to be pregnant again, the rest, we'll see it in time.
