Hi everyone, I have always thought we needed a Celine doll or Barbie so after sending a few emails I have received a reply from Barbie shown below, the Cher dolls are amazing so a Celine would be unbelievable. If i get lots of replies I will send another email to Barbie to show them how many of us need & must have one of these

Steve. Thank you very much for sending an email to Barbie. I would love to have a Celine barbie, but i already have a barbie that looks exactly like Celine. I am more interested in having a Rene barbie. Does anyone know where i could find a barbie or action figure that looks like Rene?

If Mattel came out with a Celine Dion barbie i would buy it and be over the moon, but if they don't i won't be to upset cuz i have my own look alike Celine barbie. It's awesome!!

OMG. I finally found a barbie that looks like Rene!!   I just ordered it on ebay and when it comes i will paint his beard and little bit of hair on his head.  

When i get it he will look like this.

I will change the army clothes of course and i will stuff his stomach, I'm also going to make my own outfits for him.  

I did the beard and clothes on the paint program. I copied and pasted the suit.

What does everyone think, do you think the barbie looks like Rene?

Honestly, I'm not sure. On one side I'm thinking it would be fun and all but on the other side, I think it would be sort of creepy. If they ever do, they should at least make sure that it really looks like her.
About the René doll, I do think it sort of looks like him. Quite a bit too...

no. celine's look is very unique and should not be replicated lest the replicee end up looking like a drag queen. celine is beautiful, but i do not believe a doll would translate her beauty well.

The comments on here are really FUNNY!  Personally, the wax figures created in Vegas and Paris give me the creeps just looking at the photos of them.  I do have the Mdme Alexander Celine doll and it looks NOTHING like her but it's a Celine doll, so I got it.  Would I get another?  NO.

Yeah, I think a doll would be great if it was done right!  They should make different outfits that fit her, that are mini versions of the famous ones she's worn.

I can't wait to get my Rene look alike barbie!! I am making clothes for him right now.   So far i have made a white cardigan, a green shirt, shorts and black pants. All the outfit's look so Rene style.   I will make a few suites next. They will be his fashionista look!!  

I will try to post pics sometime in the near future when my cousin comes to my house and show's me how to post pics from my phone onto the computer.I think you guys will get a real kick out of it.
