I'm going to Vegas to see Celine on April 16th. When I decided that I would be there no matter what; that I would not miss this chance to see her concert(since she's never coming to Brazil, unfortunately), all that I had in mind was just to be there and to feel the moment. Never even crossed my mind to actually meet her or simply take a picture in which she would appear by my side. But now reading all those comments in the forum, I can't deny, those thoughts are now taking over my head. Gee, how much are we doing to be there, it'd be sooooooo magic. Now I'm sad lol

Paying is not an option for me anymore lol
I've invested every single penny I've gained(and the ones that are about to come in the next months) to be there already, so better get used to the idea of just being able to be there, which is already a huge accomplishment.

Anyway, I didn't know about this paying thing, is it really true?

It would be my utlimate dream to meet Celine Dion!   My aunt's boyfriend is working on that for me now... He has connections in the business and owns several radio stations in Las Vegas.... I am not getting my hopes up but this would be the biggest dream come true for me!!!

I really need a meet and greet :/ It's all i think of these days! I have to admit that I sometimes cry myself to sleep... I gotta start with getting enough money to go see her show and at 15 thats really hard! But I know I'll make it

How can people say there's no paying to get a meet and greet?! When you log on to ticketmaster.com and you see the 1st poster of the Celine show; they tell you there's a premium package that includes a Meet and Greet of Celine; If you check this page :
http://www.ticketmaster.com/celinedion there are VIP packages; I think I'm NOT SURE, you would get a meet and greet with Celine

I don't think that if you asked to see Celine before the show while having a VIP package, they won't let you see her. The problem would be for people with regular tickets, the chances of seeing Celine are thiner

Of course they won't let you to see her for a VIP package. They clearly state what's included in the package. You should read, not assume they would just because you paid something totally different.

Of course they won't let you to see her for a VIP package. They clearly state what's included in the package. You should read, not assume they would just because you paid something totally different.

Yeah it isn't always FORMAL the way things go; for example, if you saw Celine's brother while you are enjoying your VIP package, you can ask him if it's possible to meet Celine and MAYBE he will grant you your wish; Nothing is sure but things can happen unexpectedly if Celine is available of course

It really doesn't work that way unfortunately, from my experience. I have had VIP packages where we all thought we'd get meet n greets and we didn't. They tell you that from the beginning- meet n greets are not included in the packages. Of course you HOPE for a surprise-and we were surprised once but we didn't get one on one meet n greets.  But I also have had experiences that I know if Céline had been there, we would have been given an opportunity- it's all about when and what's going on, is she running late, is she ready?

In my personal opinion, being able to buy a meet n greet is unprofessional. EVERYONE would be buying them, and so having a meet n greet with her wouldn't be "special." Plus, it's like selling yourself isn't it? Céline surely doesn't want to "sell" herself like that for fans, she knows there are fans who would go hungry to buy a meet n greet if possible.

It's much more special to have to "earn" it or be lucky- where money is not involved- sometimes it really is when all the stars align and you are in the exact right place at the exact right time. Sometimes, you have to fight for it. Sometimes it is exactly how it was meant to be- your moment will come when it is the perfect time for it. It makes it so much better!

**And can I just say I have never "met" Céline one on one- I am still waiting for my moment- whenever it will be- it will be worth it! So I say all of this from someone who also wants more than anything to meet Big Mama and just have that moment. I also want to make her laugh so hard she cries. Is that normal, no? haha

I read some reviews on Shakira's meet and greets.  The reviews weren't so hot.  While they said Shakira was very nice and gracious, they didn't get more than 10 seconds with her and were herded around like cows.

I totally agree with you Lindsey. I think it would be much more special if you had to earn it. I don't want to start an argumet, but it would not be fair to some people if you were able to buy it. I mean there are a lot of people out there that love Celine just as much as some of us, but unfortunately they cannot even afford to go to her shows and stuff, let alone buy a ''Meet and Greet''.


Lindsey, how are you going to make her laugh until she cries? Tickle her?

I have heard that too from people who have had "official" meet n greets with Céline. That she kinda goes into that "meet n greet" mode and you do get her attention, but very short...you can see it even in TTEOTW with little Sammy and Valentina. She's already moving you over to take photos while talking to you- it's like her mind is halfway on shuffle- because she has a strict schedule beforehand. If Valentina hadn't taken her out of that "meet n greet" mode by getting her to sing and dance, she would have had the same 10 seconds experience.

I saw also on the DVD of TTEOTW, 3 persons (1 mother and her 2 children) waiting in the hall that Celine takes before she goes on stage; she met them for like 5secs and then she went on stage; how did they manage to enter into this area?

I mean they surely asked the permission of one of the staffs to enter this area...

You're still not getting it. They weren't granted a meet and greet because they asked the staff to go backstage. It was already planned in advance, through promotors and sponsors.
