It has nothing to do with how good her voice is. It's apparent in songs like Love Can Move Mountains as well....it's not about the quality of her voice, but rather it's about the way she chooses to sing and the effort she puts into making it a good performance.

I like ''At Seventeen''. One of my favourite parts in the show. Which just ones again proves she cannot please everybody.

I think she gets bored with certain songs (like BYLM, LCMM, RDMH) and that is why she sings them (excuse my French) like her #ss. If she wants to, she can still hit them out of the park, but she is just not motivated. It is clear that they are not going anywhere, so they need to figure something out to do with those songs to make it exited for her to sing. I don't know, invite somebody on stage to sing with her, just do something different...

Yes, Claudette!  That's exactly it.  The motivation isn't there and I don't think she's going to sing something well if she's not excited for it.  So either they need to spruce it up like you said, or get rid of them!

I've been thinking the same way! During AND it was a surprise and during the tour a great lively number but it has burnt out for me somehow. Not it's ABM is giving me the same feeling. When they included it on the tour it was so nice after such a long break but now it's lost its power...
I'd just make some improvements in this show.

As for French song, I completely agree, Ne me quitte pas could stay but they should include another one of her own

That's why such songs should be replaced or renewed. It would be beneficial not only for us but also for Celine

I disagree about ABM. It's better now than it was on the tour. In the tour it was a boring performance that was nasal and weak in the higher notes...

I love it but I think Then You Look At Me would do better in the slot of "How Do You Keep The Music Playing" it would be neat to see a hologram of Celine from the music video and then she walks out and sings it.
Guys I think we just have to deal with her and River Deep, it's like LCMM she just enjoys performing them even though there not that great. I still want to pull for "The Best" to be placed in the show.   

I think instead of Diamonds forever place "Goldeneye" it's the most notable Bond song ever, plus that movie also had the best Bond actor also.

Well, "Alone" was rehearsed and is even included on some of the merchandise in the store.  However, it was pulled sometime leading up to Opening Night.  "I'm Alive" was originally meant to be in the show, too.

I love your set list, only songs i would add are "Man in the Mirror/ Ben" and "Open Arms".... I LOVE, LOVE LOVE the idea of LCMM opening, and its just her backup singers on the stage kinda like with Man in the mirror but center stage in pitch dark with single spot lights singing the "Faith, Trust, Love.." and it being the album version or something somewhat close too.

I like the suggestions as per above about adding more from "Celine's" Catalog into the show.  

Two KEY particular changes mentioned above in this thread would be both brilliant and welcomed by many fans:

"If You Asked Me To"---major fan favorite and many "old" fan favorites

"Tell Him" Hollogram duet as opposed to Overjoyed.  If not "Tell Him", "Immortality" would be my next choice for a Hollogram duet with The Bee Gees.


Finally, I'd love to see "Declaration of Love"  back in along with "Call the Man" replacing "At Seventeen"

If she were to add some up-tempos later on, I Drove All Night wouldn't be that bad!

I Drove All Night is such a waste. The only version halfway interesting is the Today Show performance from 2003. Not that it's amazing vocally, but the fact that it's LIVE makes her excited enough to sing... The lipped performances of this are such a dull. Not that I like talking in my songs (because it has ruined LCMM and RDMH), but this is a song that sounds decent with an occasional shout here and there...she seemed so free, so fun, and so energetic in the 2003 Today Show performance of this song...

Lol, I agree with you on her 2003 performance. I'm pretty bored so I used the acapella version of IDAN from the TCWT and put the vocals over the instrumental on Garage Band and tweaked it a bit.. It actually sounds amazing!

Even though it's a favorite I have to agree with you, it's only good on tours and mainly as the opening song. I just think the show will do a 180 if we get this new album. Then again we might get rid of some of the cover songs

As much as i like IDAN, LCMM, IA etc i'd much rather hear a few of her other more up-tempo songs this time around. IDAN is the type of song that is better live, than lipped. I could care less whether it's on a tour or in Vegas. It's just the type of song that feeds off of energy and is better/worse based off of that energy...

I completely agree with you here! I LOVE those songs that you listed,but the fact is I would LOVE JUST AS MUCH if we got songs like Misled, THLAL, Unison, TTWII, Lovin' Proof, Just A Little Bit of Love, or even NBBMH. Even some of her older French songs would be nice!!
