Yeah! And just think about it, there's gonna be plenty of us there - a huge group of Forum mambers. I want to make the award from us for Celine, CF2 wants to prepare a new check - there just has to be a way to get Celine and Rene to come and greet us, for exmple when we meet before the show or a 3-minute meet&greet afterwards!

I was thinking name tags would be a good idea so we can identify the people from the forum that day.
My sister designed name tags for the fan meeting last year in Montreal so she could do it again. Maybe something more elegant, with their forum name , their real name and their avatar what do you think?

Last time I printed them on sticker paper but some people told me they wanted also to keep them as souvenirs so I think this time we can use lanyards instead .

Maybe the Forum address/logo + nickname + first name? I don't think the avatar is necessary. But it has to be elegant and we need to be visible

Yes I'll tell her to design a new name tag for this occasion for sure. Hopefully there will be a new photo shoot for the show. Maybe a new album? who knows so when we get closer to the date she can do a draft and see what you guys think.

Try to get one on a creditcard size
When the time is ripe, I'll contact one of my suppliers who has a company in digital printing, publicity etc...  I'll think I'll can get them from him for less then nothing

Last night I was a bit bored and I made something quick in Adobe Photoshop, above the name and country there's room for a picture.

And people - we're the biggest international Celine forum online, so many of us will be there, there's my award project and CF2 has plans to give her a new check - LET'S GET CELINE TO MEET US! Don't you think this has to work?

I can agree with you.  However the space will be limited.  I think it would be nice to add a picture on it, just like a genuine badge like the press is carying, VIP's, etc...  This limits the space available though.

Unfortunately I didn't have any decent picture available but I cropped a piece out of a picture to show you what I mean.  Please don't laugh at my stupid head

But then again, this is just something I created in about 5 minutes time , I'm pretty sure that other person who can make a design will be beter

PS... If anyone makes something (we have still about one year) be sure that the original file is either in PSD or EPS with 300DPI (standard is 72DPI but that's not suitable for printing).

And another design.  This time with text in another font and colors used = gold & silver.  Also added another watermark and an disclaimer.

Since it's rather calm in the office I had some time to think

What about a pre-show dinner in the Augustus Café or the Lago buffet?  
In the lago buffet you can choose whatever you like to eat at a fixed price.
Augustus Café is an a la cart bistro but I doubt they will let you chose from the cart if the group is really big.

Don't know what others think but I think the buffet is a nice thing to eat together.  The price is fixed, 24,95 USD excluding taxes and tips.  Including tax (8,10%) it should be 26,97 USD.  I assume they will count 20% for groups to be added as a tip (could be 15 or 18, it depends), I assume before taxes.  This should give a total of 32 USD per person.  It's an all you can eat buffet.  Maybe the price is negotiable if the group is large enough?

After dinner we should be able to go to the show.


Just a thought that crossed my mind

You know alot us have meet new friends while celine TCWT, this will be EVEN bigger to get all of us in one place at once. As you all know celine has her family and we have OURS, but even BIGGER, When we all meet,, New friendships will be made,  BTW to those going OPENING NIGHT can we bring the FORUM BANNER,

As for a dinner before/or after what time will be good for everyone to arrive..?

the caesar's buffet sucks and is not worth the money IMO at least in October 08 it did - we took our wedding party there the day after our wedding and I don't think anyone ate $25 worth of food and none of the food was very good. the MGM buffet however was awesome for the price I do like the Cafe though, lots of different things at different price points.
