Oh, Stijn, so the bedges you mean are not only credit card size but also look almost like a credit card because they are made of plastic?! Wow, cool! :D Somehow I missed on that, I thought you're talking about laminated items or on those kinda badges like you can see pinned on chests (paper-printed business card form labels slipped into a plastic transparent pin up).

Now I'm also for your version (plastic), even if would be smaller than the traditional VIP pass (like the one I posted a photo of).

I think smaller size won't be a big deal if we keep it short in terms of personal info displayed: just our first names, forum names and country.
The event name and date can be printed in smaller print, like you designed it on your project.

No fancy addictions like flags, avatars, photos of ourselves etc. and it will be just fine. :)

I was just wondering if we could make PURE club play only or a lot Celine remixes in that day. It would be so cool. I just came back from a dance club today. There was no Celine song unfortunately.

We need to come up with a committee for this fan meeting. I worked with Tracy (shesings2me) on a Montréal fan meeting back during the TC tour and our meeting was splendid.  As I can tell, there are many devoted people here that are interested in putting this together.  Jane, for sure, Bralo, too.  Let's start brainstorming and putting this together certainly as far as:
a) Place and time  (obviously the day of the concert)
B) Hotel packages at Caesar's.  Wouldn't it be great having a floor of Céline fans?
c) Including everyone that wants to help.


This is going to be an exciting year for Celine fans.  It's a year away.  It will fly by!

Yeah and maybe if we put together a whole me group of us at Caeser's (or somewhere near) they might cut us a good deal- hopefully anyways!
And I agree on putting together a committee for this! I've never been to vegas and have the organization skills of a two year old so I'll leave you guys in charge :laugh:

We should do a big lunch brunch thing on the 16th for people who might have prior engagements the night before and who wouldn't be able to make it to dinner if there was a fan dinner on the 15th.

Oh a side note, I just realized I'll be turning 30 10 days after the opening, and here I was worried about what I would do for my 30th (that's a big one... ;))  Dirty 30th + Vegas + Celine + Sister + CELINE FANS = BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!  ;D

I know how you feel,I've spented my 40th with her as well during TCWT, It was the the BEST b-day ever, Seeing my Idol/MY LOVE in front of me. I cryed couldn't get over this emotion that she is in front of me . So yea PARTY ON. drinks on you this time.

One more idea I thought of during AND, but never did, was to get EVERYONE together and take a large photo of us with the colosseum in the background.

And then to get the different country, state or continent groups together for a pic.

Thinking of when the best time to do it would be?
Maybe before brunch on the 16th?

I really like the idea of the photo at the Colosseum!
That could be a nice idea for the Welcome Back book they are doing!

Something else:

Depending on how much people are being their I think we should get the media involved to, just like in Montréal last year.  I'll contact some of the most visited Vegas sites during the next couple of months and at the start of next year we could start contacting the newspapers & TV stations to see if they are interested in the story.  I think it could be thougher then Montréal (since Montréal is Céline her hometown) but I think it should be possible, maybe the day before or the day after the premiere.

Another thing.

I know it's a bit early but maybe we can start making a list when everyone is arriving in Vegas, so we can work out a complete program for maybe a day or 3?

For example:




Day 1:

8:30AM: Meeting at place X (yet to be detirmed):  Small word of welcome by the organisation (Koolan or Bellamy, start working on a speech :icon_mrgreen:), powerpoint presentation with the program, giving some details about it, handing over the badges and lanyards, Q & A, getting to known eachother.

10:00AM: Siteseeing trip (Rental cars (minivans) or if the group is to big: maybe a bus (or 2?)): possible stops: Céline's house, Hoover Dam / Lake Mead, Downtown Vegas, Area 51, ...), during the tour a quick stop for a small snack

04:00PM: Return in Vegas, going to our hotels, changing clothes

04:45PM: Photoshoot @ Caesars Palace

05h00PM: Dinner @ ...

07:30PM: PREMIERE

10:00PM: Meeting @ PURE (Unfortunately +21 only)


Day 2:

Sleeping late :)

12:30PM: Lunch @ ...

...

07:30PM: 2nd show

...

Day 3:

...

About just before dinner on the day of the premiere.  Everyone is going to be dressed up then, and if we can get the media involved they can also take pics of the whole group ;)
