Shakira gets huge promotion from Sony all over Latin America...but she's HUGE here, all over the continent, so she clearlly doesn't need Sony at all. She's as big as it gets for an artist here, so she'll do great with any company
But, then again, Sony gives her full promotion, so I'm a little bit surprised by this news

I still don't get it. I mean, she got/gets such promo from SonyBMG. Oral Fixation Vol.2 and HDL single is still on the charts here in India and selling well even though it's well over 2 years. HDL gets heavy airplay still and it's kind of sickening to hear that song every once in a while.

Anyway, someday Celine would see the light as well and move on

Shakira has released her first single, "Loba" from her forthcoming album. The English version, "She Wolf" will be available in the next couple of weeks.

It's a pretty different sound. I like that she's always changing styles.

It's an oke song. But it is one of her better newer songs. But truthfully, I'm mostly a fan of the "Piez Descalzos" Shakira.
I've listened to it three times, to give it a good shake. I can see it being remixed into something better :lol:

Her new album is such a big flop and I think I know why : There are only 3 good songs on this album : She Wolf, Did it Again & Give it Up to Me. The other songs on her album are pretty bad and weak imo.
