Since I'm on this forum, I can say that the most reliable source (related to Sony) is surely Chabby. He always gave us real news. And even before anyone else (i.e. D'Eux Legacy Edition).

ok Thank you Chabby, I think it's not good news because it's been a while since a new live cd from celine hasn't been released. The last one, live in LV, was the worst album of her career (imo) and now it would have been cool to see how great her voice was during the TC Tour (not every night of course but most of the time).

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with Claudette. What was wrong with Miracle? I really can't say that Celine has had a bad album. She's had good albums and she's had awesome albums, but never a bad one.

Miracle was way to slow and nothing impresive about it and just something you listen to when your hyper and need to get to sleep. One Heart wasn't exactly very impressive either. To me it's the combination of Vegas AND those two albums that has kinda forced Celine out of the spotlight.

one heart was a very well put together album. it flowed very well and the melodies were stuck in my head for the longest while, which tells u the signs of a good album.

Of course, everything can change in a moment, eg if she doesn't become pregnant again, maybe they will choose to release a new album and the DVD sooner. I haven't heard a news about Céline being in studio so if they want to release anything new they had to record it when the tour was finished but I doubt they did that. Of course 1 month (or even a week) is enough for Céline to record a new album so we'll see what the new year will bring for us. But we have to be patient now...

:huh: Hey but liking only 1 or 2 songs of an album doesn't make it a good album :P I think an album is a "good" album when you like half the songs on it, and its a "great album" when you like almost every song of it. But 1 or 2 only? I would say that's a poor or "fair" album... :rolleyes:

Miracle is a concept album, and for that, you can love it or hate it. It's not a bad album at all, because Céline's voice can't do bad songs (that's almost impossible :laugh: ), but it's not an album we listen very often I think -_-

In my case, I think I only put it 2-3 times per year and its to listen In Some Small Way, Une Chanson Douce and Miracle :in_love:

My Precious One is one of my all-time favorite songs of hers.  Just gorgeous.  I have to agree that I don't much care for Miracle.  I *never* put that album in the CD player (in fact, I didn't actually buy it...oops, I took it from a jackass producer in NYC for whom I temped for 3 days.  He had several copies of it that were still in plastic wrap and the album had been out for 1 year - I thought, as a Celine fan, I was more deserving of it!).   :yes:

But when people remind me of My Precious One, In Some Small Way or (my personal favorite from the CD) Come To Me, I feel like putting in the CD player.

Sorry....I realize that my post was also not really on topic.  As far as the new album is concerned, WOO HOO!  I don't care if it's french, english, spanish, pop, r&b, rock, ballad, live, whatever.  As long as it's just not recycled like the D'eux re-release or the A New Day Has Come re-release or the Falling Into You re-release.  Well....you get my point.

I like it but you can't listen to it all the time... it's just for specific moments....
