He was obviously a huge icon of the past two decades, and such an inspiration for a lot of artists, such as Timberlake, Rihanna, Céline of course, and so much more. Wether one liked him or not, he cannot deny that he was trully a musical genius.
We all have memories related to MJ, to one of his songs, or one of his clips.

"Right now, along millions and millions of others I am so sad....and I just want to send my prayers and love to Michael's family. I can't imagine how difficult this is for them....to lose someone so special. And it's the same for everyone in the world who loses a loved one. It just keeps reminding us of how precious life is, and that we never know when it's our time. God Bless his soul."

I'm shocked that ET (Entertainment Tonight) has published the last picture taken of Michael Jackson as the paramedics are trying to revive him, doing CPR, etc.  That truly is not how I want to remember him.

im not a fan. never a hater either. But this is TRULY SHOCKING!!! i've been uncomfortable ever since i heard the news. no matter how weird his history is, this man's a truly gifted musician. listen to 'Thriller' albm, we hardly find music quality on par to it these days. that kind of beats & powerful lyrics, we hardly find it these days. i was hoping that one day or other he would make a come-back with a bang like Mariah Carey did, coz i loved the quality of his music. but... sigh!!!!!!

I was appalled that Larry King showed that photo. I couldn't stand to look at it, it's like the photo's of Princess Diana's car after the wreck that tragically took her life I couldn't stand looking at the photo's they made me sick to my stomach and to hear that paparazzi took photo's of her as she lay in the car dying did make me sick.

It was quite a shock! I've always considered myself to be a fan of music, regardless of the person I support music. I loved MJ's music, my parents had LPs of his when I was a child, so to hear he is no longer with us is sad, but hopefully he is in a better place...far from the torments of the world.

Celine's quote about how precious life is is really true.  I'm just glad he's in a better place and they have no right to show those photos.  His fans will not want to see him that way this being the last time to see him.
