A cover of "Perfect Day," the Lou Reed song that Boyle unsuccessfully tried to sing on "America's Got Talent" earlier this month, will be the album's first single.
Boyle's "Gift" will also include performances of Christmas classics like "The First Noel," "O Holy Night" and "Away In A Manger," as well as re-workings of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over." Boyle will duet with Amber Stassi, the winner of her Susan's Search online talent contest, on "Do You Hear What I Hear?"
"I wanted there to be a mix of songs that would flow with all our moods this holiday season," says Boyle of "The Gift" in a statement. "As much as the season is a time for reflection, it is also a time for fun and enjoyment with those closest to us."
Upon its November 2009 release, "I Dreamed a Dream" became the only debut album by a female artist to debut at No. 1 and top the Billboard 200 for six weeks. The set has since sold 3.8 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Here is the full tracklist of her sophomore album "The Gift" :
1. "Perfect Day"
2. "Hallelujah"
3. "Do You Hear What I Hear?" (featuring Amber Stassi)
4. "Don't Dream It's Over"
5. "The First Noel"
6. "O Holy Night"
7. "Away in a Manger"
8. "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace"
9. "Auld Lang Syne"
10. "O Come All Ye Faithful"

I bet ''The Gift'' will sell millions and millions of copies worldwide just like ''I Dreamed A Dream''. She will overpower everybody in the music industry once again.

For me her ''I Dreamed A Dream'' album was a disappoint overall because it lacked feelings (IMO) but this album judging by these short samples sounds classy but sultry and touching at the same time. Just listen to the ''Hallelujah'' sample at 0:31, we can tell she really ''feels'' the song.

After Duking It Out for 2009’s Best-Seller, They Go Head-to-Head on Next Week’s Chart
November 10, 2010
It’s age vs. youth for next week’s chart, as a debuting Susan Boyle will battle it out against Taylor Swift for #1 on next week’s HITS Album sales chart.
The duel is a repeat of last year, when Swift’s Fearless and Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream went to the wire as 2009’s top-selling album, with the country princess barely edging the hard-charging Britain’s Got Talent star at the finish line.
Look for Boyle’s sophomore Columbia album, The Gift, to keep on giving for the holidays, after debuting this week with 240-260k, which would put her neck-and-neck for the top spot alongside the third week for Swift’s Speak Now. Which is good news for Lou Reed, whose “Perfect Day” is the first single from the Scottish singer’s release.
Swift’s album should benefit from tonight’s CMA awards, while the Boyle album is a certain stocking-stuffer as we head into the teeth of the gifting season.
Universal Motown rap superstar Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager bows with a number between 180-220k, a lock for the #3 position.
Capitol/EMI’s debuting Now 36 is up next, with a total of 80-85k, while Island/IDJ’s Bon Jovi will score 70-75lk with their Greatest Hits—The Ultimate Collection package.
Valory/Big Machine veteran country star Reba McEntire is counting on All the Women I Am to buy between 60-65k of her new release.
Gnarls Barkley and former Goodie Mob moonlighting soul crooner Cee-Lo Green’s New Elektra album, The Lady Killer, rides the viral smash, “f*** You,” to between 30-35k, followed by ABR/EMI’s Alter Bridge (24-27k) and Get Money Gang/EMI’s Twista (19-22k).
The market was down 6% vs. last week, down 21% vs. same week last year and still down 13% year to date. You can now resume looking for Bret Favre’s penis text on your iPhone.

i would say it's not bad but it's not everyone's cup of tea
some would love it some wouldn't like it as much...
as for me i would give it like 3 out of 5
and i think it lack some xmasish feelings in some songs
also she should have record some faster songs
what u guys think?
