No. I hate those kids who grab anything they can find like they cost a penny. I did checked a few items, the quality is still H&M. The leather jacket maybe is the best item in that collection. But there is nothing left for my size. So I just didn't get anything. I will wait for the next Black Friday.

There were very few pieces that I liked, but none to suit my body type. Not that I would have paid those prices anyway. I saw the other day that there are a whole lot of items left on the swedish webshop, 50% off and even more on some items...

I got a really comfy and warm pair of sweatpants this week for $30 instead of $70, that made me happy (you'd laugh so hard if you saw one of my other pairs, they used to belong to my brother in the 80s LOL. But they're soooo comfortable to wear around the house on lazy days)

Galliera PM at Vuitton and a dipdye 'Jungle Love' scarf from Hermès. Been looking at the Galliera for over 2 years now, so glad I finally got it..

Thanks Those were my last purchases for a while, I've decided that 2012 will have to be a year of "appreciating what you've already got". I've spent just under $7K this year (Vuitton/Hermès/Apple products), all "borrowed" money from a savings account. I need to save up again, those 7K and more, before I'm allowing myself to buy something unnecessary...

That reminds me, I have one more thing to show you before the hiatus Got a Mini Pochette in November as well (but in Stockholm, not during the trip to Berlin)

I was supposed to look for clothes today (boxing week sale), but I found something else instead... There's a swedish jewelry designer called Efva Attling (unless I wear my grandmother's cameo pendant, then Attling is what I will normally have on), and I've been eyeing her collection with Orrefors (swedish crystal classworks company in my province) for years, but the prices have prevented me from getting a piece.. well, today was my lucky day!

(The ring in the bottom says "from here to eternity", same as some of her jewelry)

I was reading through some of this thread, and I love it! It's fun to see other people's personal style.

Last week I bought 2 dresses on eBay! One for $15.99 and one for $22.99, from the same seller. I'm a bit nervous about sizing. I've had experiences online where the measurements have not been completely accurate. It doesn't help that my body can be difficult to shop for. I'm tall, with a long torso, 45-inch hips and a 31-inch waist.

Anyway, here's some pics of the dresses. I'm excited to get them in the mail!

Well, this is related to hairstyles, not clothes, but since that's a form of fashion too, I thought I'd ask you guys this. I've wanted to get side bangs for a while now, but I'm feeling very indecisive. My hair is very long, and if I don't like the style, I don't want to wait 5 years for the bangs to grow out!! Today I tried doing "makeshift" bangs with a barrette and took a picture of myself...what do you think? Would this be a good style for me?

My two cents: Most of my girlfriends who get bangs end up regretting it because of the time it will take to grow back out.  When they want to have that look they do what you just did and pin it back like that.

Edit: also gives you the option if you don't want to have bangs one day you don't have to!
