I love Applause! It's catchy and 'gets' you even though you don't like it. Creatively, I think she peaked with her first album as no song from 'Born This Way', any leaked song from the upcoming album nor this song don't come anywhere near those songs from her first album. Bad Romance, Just Dance, Paparazzi, Lovegame are classics. Hope she brings 'it' with this album.

Eversince The Fame I start liking her work less and less
The Fame Monster I did like... but I didn't even buy Born This Way and I don't think I'll buy Artpop either...

There is a lot of noise going on in this new album, a bit too much of everything. And it's also so scattered,
from pop to some hardcore R 'n B... not my kind of stuff!

I really wonder how long she can maintain her career. I am sure there are loads of people who think this is amazing,
but in reality it's.... not

I in a way agree that the music has taken a downturn in favor of her not so always necessary antics. The album is really weird. There are a few songs I love, but a lot that I don't like or find awkward.

maybe she was too high on meds cos of her hip surgery while she wrote those songs

with The Fame is was about music, now it's just all about shocking, like that song Princess Die, about Diana, which fortunately didn't make the album!

I didn't buy Artpop because I felt a little stung by the ammount of filler on Born This Way.  I did download Do What You Want from itunes though, its a good song.  The performance on Graham Norton was much better than the studio track, R. Kelly really isn't needed for this track.

Gaga is the new Cyndi Lauper : only succesful for a few years and then her career is crumbling.

I love the album, there are a few songs that arent so good, but I love how individual most songs are and although not what people may come to expect (or to much of it) I think its a good album which with a bit more work could be amazing.

It seems that gaga has sacked some of her team, accusing them of betraying her and causing her album to flop.  I like her some of her music I just think the woman is too unstable for the industry she is in.

I really like her and her music, but I always claimed that the bar was set way too high and no matter how hard she tried she won't be able to live up to the expectations people have of her (especially in terms of album sales or singles positions on the charts)

I just said this in the Streisand thread. I got Gaga's album and it did nothing for me. I love jazz, and I do like her voice, but it lacked something.
