Finally the long (15-year!) wait is over....

The songs sound very interesting and personal.... I só can't wait to hear the "new" Shania!

Corden didn't even let Shania talk about her new music. This show was a mess with all the guests at the same time!

A person who was at the taping told on facebook that she mentioned 2 songs she will be singing live at Stagecoach next week. Of course this wasn't interesting enough and got edited out...

Plus, the album was apparently postponed to early fall.

Seems like the long wait isn't over. She said on February that we can hear the new single on March and the album on May but we still have nothing.

She has been saying her new album's release is imminent for the past 7 years.

Shania is debuting her new single this Saturday!

Life's about to get good. Why?
Because Shania Twain is previewing her new single during a live concert on Saturday. Oh, and fittingly, it's called "Life's About to Get Good."

"I was thinking, 'Okay, what is life about?' I was being kind of serious; I was reflecting," Twain told the Los Angeles Times during a recent interview. "Life's about joy, life's about pain, life's about this, life's about that … Then all of a sudden: 'Life's about to get good.' And I thought, 'What a great play on words! How fun is that?"

The singer will debut the new single-the first from her upcoming album-this Saturday during her headlining set at Stagecoach Music Festival in Indo, California.

Expect it to hit radio stations in June, says Billboard. As for the rest of the tracks, fans will have to wait. Though originally teased for spring, the still-untitled album and Twain's first in 15 years, is now officially slated for a September release. It will feature a deeper sound (Twain has been in voice therapy recovering from a 2011 diagnosis of dysphonia, a disorder of the vocal chords) and delve into her struggles with her 2010 divorce from producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, who cheated on Twain with her best friend.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the best-selling female country artist of all time described her new songs as "quite melancholy and a lot darker" than her earlier works.

I was so exited to discover this new song when I woke up on sunday! It's so catchy!! I keep singing it in my head since then. It's new but I can still recognize Shania's style in it. CAN'T WAIT for the studio version to be released

Plus, besides the catchy melody, there are no possible doubts to whom the lyrics are meant for

Well I am disappointed with that song. It's nothing close to what I would expect from a comeback single coming from Shania And that starting notes are... cringeworthy? Hope it would sound much better there than in the video

In every way, this is a *new* Shania. First time in 25 years she's written everything herself and working with other producers. And she has a new/different voice. This is not the same Shania as 15-25 years ago and as she said herself in a recent interview....

"I told anyone getting involved musically to forget about my other records," the musician tells Rolling Stone. "I didn't want it to be related to Mutt's productions at all. I wanted a more organic approach. I'm a different singer now," she shares. "There was a lot of coming to terms with that. Haha. Your irony again. Do you think I'm going to be the only one comparing her new music with the past? You know she hasn't released any new music in 15 years right? Of course e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e is going to compare the new music with her past albums!! The pressure is there, and she knows it. Because the past is all what we have from her, in Shania's case (and what a glorious past, shall I say)

We haven't seen anything yet of the "present" Shania because we only have had one bootleg recorded in bad quality from a live song performance. And it's blatantly obvious it has nothing to do with her powerful first singles from Up! or Come On Over, but I get it's only ONE song and that I must wait for the whole album to judge. That's what everyone is waiting for!

Btw, if you followed my posts you will know that I absolutely loved and was amazed by her Vegas show "Still The One", and I only had words to praise the gorgeous show she put on there

Comparing or complaining?
Of course everyone will compare (including me), but I was merely mentioning that you also have to have an open mind. That was my point.
There's also a 1 minute excerpt from the studio version online (the song is used in a promo for the Winter Olympics).

It will most likely be released on June 16, on the day of her Today show appearance.

Though they should've released it when she performed it at Stagecoach. Too much time in between.
Shania should've performed it live at the Billboards etc.
