It's so suprising that she fell ill again. I hope it's not this concert that made her sick again.
I was sitting in the fourth row at the stage level. In Toronto, she sang all English songs except for PQTMAE. But in Ottawa, she sang lots of French songs so it's almost as if I was seeing a different concert!
Thanks JP for the videos! That speech she made is a classic and I'm glad to be able to watch it again and again. By the way, where were you sitting?

Second of all however, I'm not sure what you were all hearing. Though Celine may have had some strong moments, to me it was very obvious that her voice was far from on form. I'd hate to think that I'm one of the only ones who knows her this well, but poor Celine was just getting by. Don't get me wrong please, I'm not trying to be a beotch and I'm not trying to say Celine didn't have a strong performance. She did great but I could definitely tell that she was not herself at all vocally and that her illness was taking its toll.
Anyway, you know I love you all. Stay well, T
p.s. that speech was joyous and fun and quite a moment for all there that night! Awesome!

I thought that during the songs, the spotlight moves automatically to a set program and Celine rehearses to make sure she's in the right place at the right time. However, after this concert, I'm beginning to think that she has some sort of receiver on her which links to the spotlight so that it's always shining on her...
Does anyone else have an answer?

With some stages, people actually climb up ladders to steer the spotlights. Céline's come from 4 sides of the arena..

Really? I thought that was a thing of the past. I seriously thought it was something hi-tech that kept the spotlights on her!
Must be pretty boring up there!
