Once we got to the stadium we had to figure out where to hide the camera from the security guards. Found the solution: in my pants
Jon Mesek was ok, although I didn't really listen to him
I had seats in Block B4 row 9. 177 EUR would have been a bit too expensive for me, but now if I were to go to her concert again I would think otherwise and buy the most expensive tickets in the rows up front. Either way, the view was great from where I was seating.
I won't go into detail about every song, as many other wonderful reviews have already been posted.
My love - as for most of you it was an absolute delight, an incredible live experience, so much emotion!!! I now have a new favorite song. The silence during accapella part made it even more magical. AMAZING performance !
All by myself - the highlight of the show for me, which is my all time favorite Celine song. I was in awe. The perfection with which she sings those difficult notes hypnotized me.
The show must go on was also very powerful
We will rock you doesn't really fit Celine, but the song is so amazing that it lifts everybody up.
This is a man's world was something very fresh for me to hear from Celine, and it was perfect. The blues style really fits Celine's voice (That's just the woman in me).....magic !
The crowd was great, as others have also mentioned, stood up, danced and clapped. It would have been even better if the stadium had been sold out, but I guess since it was the 5th German concert, it was ok.
I don't know about the playback, or about Celine being bored during the old songs.....I really didn't have the time to analyze all of it.It was one of the best experiences of my life. Her voice acts like electroshock through my body.
I really hope I'll get the chance to see her in concert again, unfortunately it's impossible during this tour. But I'm trying to stay confident, that at some point she will tour again.
I will cherish that night forever !

and some vids (sorry for the slight shake of the hand....but I was very nervous and couldn't control it)

Yeah, I agree that she must really become emotional every time she sings the song live, but I really don't think that she cries every time......after all she sings the song every 2 days in concert ! We don't really see any tears, but her whipping her eyes.
But still, her performance made me have goosebumps !

Exactly!
She stated that she cries every time which is impossible but her performance is just amazing! She really made us stare at her without moving at all! She was very emotional!

It was empty - haven´t you been there?
14,000 people in a 65,000 seat stadium is far away from being full.
This is a nice picture, but it only shows the light shining in the middle part of the arena where the most people where sitting. Even in the arena there were blocks empty.
No offense, just a fact.

After the change of the Stage there were only 38.000 seats available. And the sources that we asked where the people who worked there, they had a plan. and the plan said that 20-22.000 people will come ( have tickets).
14.000 ist just laughable, i dont want to know your sources
Kylie was in Munich a few weeks before, she did her show in the olympiaHALLE which have around 10.000 seats. She only sold around 8-9.000 seats. Compared to Celine its nothing.
Her Concert in Munich was 100% Positiv, the crowd, the sales, celine self.

Well, if you compare Kylie to Celine, I just would like to mention a few things:
- They booked a venue for Kylie which was almost sold out (90%) and the concert was amazing, an amazing show - visually, atmosphere, you can´t ask for more. So a big success.
- They booked a venue for Celine which was 25% full - or in other words, almost empty. They had to change the setup because the ticket sales were so poor.
- Kylie put on a great show, Celine did not. Celine did charge a fortune, Kylie did not.
- Or have a look at the UK leg of the tour: Kylie sold out the Manchester Evening News Arena six times, Celine not even twice.
It does not make much sense to compare those two artists as Kylie is pretty big in Europe only whereas Celine is a worldwide Superstar - and to compare the kind of show little Kylie puts on to Celines - lets say - very very simple set up is such a shame for somebody like Celine. Plus - Kylie did every note live.
Actually good that you brought this up - because if you compare those two events it shows how extremely lame Celine was.

Olympiastadion Munich can hold over 80,000 people.
The standard seats could hold the capacity of 69,250 people.
The ground floor itself can have over 10,000 chairs.

Celines Concert wasnt 25% sold!
Without counting you could see that the half was sold. with just one look at the stadium.
I was not talking about a Venue, I talk about sales in Munich!
Kylie 8.000 - 9.000
Celine 20.000 - 22.000
So i am ok with that,....
and you dont have to tell us about Kylies show, nobody cares! I like Kylie too but who asked about her show effeckts? I dont care about KYlie in the UK, search the thread and write it down there.
Please dont use unofficial and wrong numbers of sales and % again and again!
You have your opinion, which is great. Its even great that you are able to tell us what are you think about the Tour and all that. But its just bothering for many many people (incl. me) that you are repeat yourself in almost every second posting over and over again!!!

What counts are the seats, because it wasnt a concert where we had to stand.

You know, I tend to agree with Martin on many aspects. I'm not going to repeat myself... you can read what I wrote in this thread here.
I love Celine and I pay to enjoy her entertainment, but I don't like being MISLED...

i´m so sorry if i am bothering you - well, not really
everybodys repeating himself here as the whole forum has only one topic - celine. so i won´t post anything about global warming here. some keep saying how great is was, i keep saying that it was not...
it is so ok that you want to make the concert look like a big success - and it probably was, to you, to a lot of die-hard-fans, defintitely to Celines bank account (considering zero costs for a the show) - but for others it was not.
and - you are the one who brought up kylie - i did not.
there is no sense in comparing those two.
and - numbers for ticket sales are from "Münchner Merkur" - 14,800 it states to be correct.
other sources say differently - 20,000, thats true.
but - it does not make a major differnce - all it needed was a look around in the stadium to see that it was empty. i don´t think there has ever been a concert in the stadium being so empty.
