I know its so unfair  :confused: i sometimes turn the dvd off when it gets to the part when celine gives the rose to someone in the audience cause i get really jealous  :laugh: i really want a rose from her, that would be amazing ..x

It must have been amazing to get the Rose!!  So happy for all of you!!  

While I wasn't lucky enough to get the Rose itself...I made sure I picked up some of the petals from the floor from the final night!!!   :smile1:

Just been sitting at work having the worst day ever, and looked at the date on my phone, and thought wow, this day three years ago I was in Vegas and got the rose from Celine!!!  :)

Time flies, but thinking back on it, made my day that bit better.... its something I will never forget!  :wub:

i got the rose on October 24,2003.  Everyone was crying around me even Celine and the Ushers.  Maybe that's because Celine what it took for me to get there.  I still can't believe i froze when i met her :doh:  :cry:

I received the rose from Celine on 23 March, 2005. Easily, the best night ever! She handed me the rose, we kissed each other on the cheek and she gave me the biggest hug ever. While she was hugging me, I remember telling her, "Merci, je t'aime Celine," and she just smiled at me and said "Merci."

I will never forget the smile on her face as she approached me, while my brain was going 90 miles a second with "This is really happening." I cried for the next two hours at least, and I still have the rose, which I pressed in the program as soon as I got back to my room.  The bittersweet part of it all is that while my parents had accompanied me to Las Vegas, solely so I could see A New Day..., neither wanted to see the show (as my mother and I had seen Celine in August 2003) so they were at first hesitant to believe me, even as I stood there balling my eyes out... until they saw the rose.

Easily one of the best nights of my life! :D

did she choose anybody she wanted just randomly or for some special reason??
