Yeah, I was looking at those too but the best I could find was row H in section 14 and i thought it is too far for the money. So we went ahead with front row from Ticketexchange, $200 cheaper per ticket than Hot Sound and we have Hot sound for Montreal anyway. I think we got 3 seats in section 19 and thinking of getting 2 more.

I'm home in Dallas for winter break and I'd love to try to see Celine if she's here since I wasn't able to get tickets to any of the Texas concerts (but I had really good seats when I saw her in NYC

Show was FANTASTIC! I got some pictures and video but my camera is crap so I don't know yet what they'll look or sound like when I download. My friend has a better zoom on her camera (we were waaaaay high up) so she gave me her memory card so hopefully her pictures and video look better.
I don't really know what to say - no great personal Celine moments like meeting her or whatever and from what I've read, sounds like pretty much the same thing from all the past shows. Which basically means, she kicked some big time #ss.
I do have one gripe - the girls behind me. Talked - loudly - the entire show pretty much. To the point, all of us were turning around and glaring at them. I mean, All by Myself - yack yack yack. I wanted to KILL THEM. And when someone finally went "Shhhh!!!", I heard one of the girls say "Geez, it's a CONCERT!" And I came so close to whipping around and saying "Yeah, a concert I spent $100 on. To hear CELINE talk. Not YOU. So...SHUT UP!!!" OH I was so pissed. I tried to mostly ignore it though because I didn't want to miss a second of her. I'm worried though my videos all you'll hear are them talking. *sigh* How can you talk during ABM? And TLYM? PQTME?? even if you can't understand what she's singing, it's such a powerful song, nobody should be talking during it! Oh and ML??!?!?! They were giggling. Celine makes some goofy faces sometimes, esp during intense moments of her songs (which is something I find completely endearing about) but that performance of that song has killed me dead for the past month or so after seeing it on youtube. to finally watch and hear it live, I got absolute chills and could barely breathe. And then...yap yap yap yappity yap yap. And the laughing at her really was my final straw. That might have been when someone shhh'd them. I can't recall. Oh but when the songs were over, they were cheering and screaming. And yet, I don't know that they even paid any attention at all to her songs. Except during The Prayer which apparently by their reaction, was the only song they came to hear. They were pretty much silent all through out that.
ANYWAY - back to Celine. She was hilarious and charming and of course, as in previous shows, talked about her mom and son at the beginning. I know she talked a little more during but that was all I can recall now. Oh we had Emmitt Smith (Dallas Cowboys) in the audience and she had the camera focus on him in the very beginning. Everyone cheered and he was laughing and waving. And I wish I could recall his name now (last name started with an S) but Renee's doctor that I guess he had when they were here in Dallas for his cancer was in the audience and she gave a huge intro to him. Very sweet and made me almost cry. I wish I'd video'd that.
If you have any questions, I'm more than glad to answer if I can recall. It's all like a blur now.

Celine Dion an expert performer in front of sold-out American Airlines crowd 12:11 AM CST on Tuesday, January 6, 2009
By MARIO TARRADELL / Music Critic mtarradell@dallasnews.com
Here's what you do know about Celine Dion: The woman's got pipes. Serious pipes.
Here's what you might not know about Celine Dion: The woman's goofy, which makes her more human. She's not afraid to make funny faces before an adoring audience.
The megastar with the astonishing voice performed for a nearly sold-out house Monday night at American Airlines Center. It had been almost a decade since she played Dallas. That does seem like a long time. But it's believable. She spent five years in Las Vegas doing her "A New Day" show. Anyway, she was welcomed in these parts with open arms.
Deservedly so. Dion was an expert performer from the old school. She was personable with the fans, talking freely between songs. She sang with power and pathos, particularly during a breathtaking cover of Eric Carmen's "All By Myself" and of course her signature ballad, the beautiful "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic.
As expected, that one ended her 105-minute gig. By then she was on her sixth costume, a flowing black gown. Candles flickered atop the lighting rigs, which were lowered to stage level. The anthem was rightfully treated with grand care.
Dion worked the platform, which was in the round to allow for maximum visibility. At every turn, she looked as though she was having a good time, interacting with her 10-piece band and her eight dancers and delivering fun dance numbers such as "I Drove All Night" and "Shadow of Love," from her recent Taking Chances CD.
Her soul-blues mojo, a cover of "It's a Man's Man's Man's World," was way cool. "The Prayer," with duet partner Andrea Bocelli on the video screen, was elegant. Her take on Jim Steinman's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" was drama incarnate.
But there were two misfires: "Because You Loved Me," a generic song that wastes her talents, and her version of Heart's "Alone," a tune that belongs to Ann Wilson and nobody else.
They're minor quibbles. Hey, even Celine Dion can be allowed a couple of blunders.

Woah, totally disagree with that big time. Especially BYLM (Alone is a song I adore when Heart sings it - I like Celine's version of it and thinks she does it well but I do think the original is the best). But BYLM? GENERIC?? WASTES HER TALENTS?? That song is the entire reason I became a fan of hers. It was all over for me after that - I became obsessed. I was practically falling out of my chair when I knew that song was coming up.

Celine Dion struts through two hours of newer songs and familiar standards. Special to the S-T/Michael
DALLAS — Celine Dion's shtick precedes her. If you're not a fan, you'd be caught dead anywhere sooner than Monday night's show at the American Airlines Center. But the fans who packed the house — including Emmitt Smith! — for the divisive diva's first show in Dallas in 10 years were happy campers.
After 45 minutes of baby-sitting from manic Vegas celebrity impressionist Gordie Brown, Dion hit the stage, looking, if I'm allowed to say this, nearly sexy. She strutted throughout the stage's precise geometry, belting out a two-hour menu of newer songs and familiar standards, including The Power of Love, It's All Coming Back To Me Now and Because You Loved Me.
The instrumental arrangements were faithful to the original recordings, making her set a journey through time, at least for those who remember watching VH1 before it got snarky. Smart choice; nobody in this audience wants, say, a reggaeton interpretation of I'm Your Angel.
Dion is her voice, and that voice was spot-on. She never shied away from the big notes and, first song to last, sounded as strong as she has on any recording over her 20-year career.
Dion is teased for, among other things, gesturing in an odd and overzealous manner. Lighten up, I say. She's got tight-fitting costumes and high heels, which, incidentally, kept her safely off the hook from joining her limber backup dancers. What's she supposed to do during To Love You More and All By Myself other than thrust her arms and toss her hair? Just stand there?
There's nothing terribly organic or impulsive about Dion's show; if you doubt me, consider the deliberate production involved in the giant overhead screens.
But this is what her fans want: a solid, lively, earnest, joyful reminder of better, purer days, down to the final soaring note of My Heart Will Go On.
Glad you had a great time Julie!
