AND, because by the greatest fortune, I was the only mad-crazy fan in my section (holler section 81!!) amongst a sea of old-timers, So I was smACK in Celine's view everytime she walked up the catwalk to see me. She pointed at me during BYLM, and stared RIGHT at me during the show must go on, for an extended period of time, to the point that I got a little afraid.
Buying a seat there was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life, too. I can honestly say this concert was 100 times better than the one I watched from the floor, because you could just seE the stage.. and follow Celine everywhere she went. And when she comes up the catwalk she comes so close it's worth every penny. I watched her all night in rapt awe.
The crowd was awesome (except for the people around me who sure wished I would've stopped screaming) and there were at least a few other Celine fans around my area to share in the crazy joy as well. I LOVED the crowd when we kept shouting out "MY LOVE!! MY LOVE!" And she kept going "the song,.. as some of you seem to already know very well.." Lol
I could see other forum members too.. someBOdy had a Je t'aime shirt on so I'm sure she was a forum member.. and I could see Fabio. Lol.
And of course. The singing. Awesome. But where was Charice? Oh well. BUt yes. AWESome. :)awesome awesome awesome. This night will last forever.

The crowd was better tonight, but still did not get up at least on our side of the stage. Ramona and I were approached by security during IDAN that we were the only ones up dancing and that we may want to sit down. Whereas on the opposite side, Kathy and Salla were up standing and dancing the entire time. It was so neat to see them on the big screen most of the time.
Like Vic said, Celine was on fire and was very animated. Must be our Je t'aime shirts!!!!!!!!!
The highlight of the evening was when we met with the Holland fans. So good to see them in NY. Earlier we saw them being interviewed in the lobby.

80 downloadsRosie O'Donnell's parnter and friend were sitting neat Salla and Kathy. Rene was in the crowd, too. Oh and Chuck Taylor (nystrele) and his partner were also there. Chuck introduced the "forum crowd" to his partner

The sound at that section was better than the floor seats I had yesterday.

I don't have much of a review for you tonight. I was crying the whole time, no joke the whole time. I've just been going through a rough time in my life, and being there alone, and hearing Celine live, I just let it out. So I can't really tell you much about the audience, but I could see Celine was having a good time. I was up in the 400's and when she was descending down under the stage, everytime, she would still be dancing even when other people couldn't see her. It was cute. She seemed really emotional during the slower songs. Moreso than usual. Or that could have just been me imagining it bcause I was crying lol. She didn't leave or come in through the audience, but I can't blame her at MSG. The crowd would have been too insane. Exiting MSG was a nightmare, the elevators were stuck, the stairways were jammed, so since I've been to a billion and one shows, I took the smart route. I walked down through the venue to where the floor seats were. I saw Michael, but didn't say anything, because I looked like a hot mess afer all of those tears lol. Oh, also a little tidbit. I ran into my hairdresser after the show, who was also at the show. She had binoculars and was telling me how it was so crazy that her hair was able to stay so curled through the whole show. I've always wondered if she had extensions so I asked, and she said no, she just has really thick, long hair. Hahah so theres that. Of course celine was flawless tonight...I just can't believe I only have one show left.

Hahah I know this post is from earlier on...but that sounds exactly like me. As of Sunday, I wasn't going to tonight's show...but I cracked and literally used my last cent to go. Now I'm seeing that there's shows in Canada that I can save money for and I'm thinking about that too. It started off with just two shows and went to 6. Its an addiction. Like crack. Haha. I've even started lying to my family about wher I'm going hahaha.

It's got nothing to do with the audience, she walked through in Montreal and it's crazier for her over there. The reason she didn't walk through is that the way the Garden is set up the stage entrance just happens to be right next to the backstage area so she can walk right under the stage and not go through the crowd. Most venues have it at the back, not at the sides. I think that since MSG has always hosted boxing it was built like that so the boxers wouldn't have to go through the audience.

Vic, as for the sound, I noticed that too! I haven't been to MSG but in all the other venues with stage in the middle, I always expected worser, more bassy sound while sitting on the floor and better, clearer sound when sitting on the side where the catwalks are! That's really interesting!

Eh row K! I had an aisle so I was pretty much standing in the middle of the aisle for most of it, right in front of the lovely catwalk

like Celine would say...i don't want to sound pretencious...BUT... i want to believe i started this screaming MY LOVE MY LOVE thing . Because I did it in Newark last Friday and I think it was the first time it happened. She was saying "the next song was written by Linda Perry" and of course thanks to this forum I already knew which song it was and in a desperate move to get myself noticed by her i shouted out MY LOOOOOOOVE . Celine smiled. Stopped talking for a bit and all the audience was laughing. Everyone was staring at me hehe someone jokingly told me "I don't think she heard you" .
Then I did it again in MSG on Monday and she said "That's right it's called My Love" .
I would love to see this happening more and more so if you are going to a concert soon remember to scream MY LOOOOVE !!
An angel was looking through,
It was you,
Yeah you...it's

You are the REASON.

You know, she's done that every night I've seen her in NJ/NY. I'm kind of wondering if its not live, or just a constant mistake.

Lol I don't doubt it was you! I definitely got the idea to shout MY LOVE!! from knowing that people have had results from yelling it before, and from reading your entry. Heh I was actually thinking of that last night during the show, and telling my friend about it, about how great it is to have this community of fans that constantly update the show for both us and Celine. I can only imagine her telling Rene after her concerts, "Everyone seems to know 'My love' now!" And I love how it just starts with someone like you and keeps changing. Like someone last night also shouted "under the stage!" and everyone was finishing sentences for her. it was wonderful.
concludingly..
