her voice is soooooooooooooooooooo strong and powerful...she hits the notes easily - the high ones , the long ones , the low ones - she is on fire vocaly and i'm soooooooooo happy
Thats what i was thinking all the time!!! Because Vegas was not about singing but working, world tour is about singing, I feel like a new fresh celine fan now!!!!

No I didn't get TT sorry. It's unlikely that I will get any bootlegs this Friday coz I'm front row centre and she has a habit of looking at me often which makes it a little difficult

Wanted to give you an update on the two shows in Cape Town, as I went to both. I also met Celine on both evenings backstage.
HOW I MET CELINE?
Well, let’s just say I am reeeeeeeeeeally lucky. It’s been a big dream. Everyone who’s everyone knew about this and made it happen for me. People who know people who know people…. So I went backstage with the event manager for the media sponsor (Kfm radio station).
She is really 100 times better looking in real life. She’s got a natural glow, radient and an almost angel like aura around her. Very surreal and magical. We stood in a queue to meet her (a few competition winners and reach for a dream kids)….everyone was shaking her hand. When I stepped forward to meet her, I asked for a hug…
We were grouped together, so ended up being 6 people in one photograph. Luckily I stood next to her.
On the second night, pretty much the same. Except that the group I was going backstage with were all my friends!!! This was not planned and completely unexpected. But the Event Manager called to say he’s got a few spaces and we can come backstage (again!!!). It was soo much fun…as a group we had fun, laughed and joked with her. My mom even chatted with her for a bit about “having children”. Really special…..
THE CONCERT
Well, the tracklist for both evenings were exactly the same. Except, on the 2nd night they played the Intro Video (montage of all her music videos) and she sang IDAL on both evenings. What irritated me on the 1st night, was the fact that the audience kept singing (no, rather screaming) the songs with her…so really on some occasions, especially with the high powerful notes, one could not hear her because the audience was singing so loud with her!! REALLY!!!! On the second night, the crowd would quiet down to hear her sing.
It was quite amazing though how everyone kept standing throughout the entire show!!! It’s a fast paced show!! She never had one sip of water, and I never got the impression that she is getting tired. The second night was even more energetic…she was totally into it and was dancing more., laughing, interacting etc etc.
Highlights for me include:
1) I’m Alive – this new version is SUPER SUPER cool and energetic!!!! With big beats and audience participation (the audience had to sing the “backing vocals” part on the climax). I SOOO wich they release this version somewhere
2) All by Myself – to hear that vocal under the African skie…priceless…..
3) Show must go on – Wow….unexpectedly brilliant
4) This is a Man’s World – again, completely unexpected, works tremendously well with her voice.
5) River Deep : what a crowd pleaser!!!!
6) Alone: feels almost epic…the air violin is GREAT!! My favourite part of the song!
7) MHWGO : when she comes out with that dress, its just overwhelming. Makes quite a statement. I know on the pictures you guys don’t like the red dress…but its REALLY impressive on stage and everyone went wild when they saw her looking so graceful.
So that’s it. Its worth every penny and will exceed all your expectations. I know of quite a few people who went who were NOT fans of her at all. They simply could not believe this performance. It’s been described by people as the Best Show they have ever seen. (Even our most prominent “shock jock DJ’s” on radio said they went hoping to hate her…and can in all honesty say it’s the best show they’ve ever been to).
So – enjoy your anticipation…. Its makes it so worth it!

"It's A Man's World" is APOCALYPTIC!!! Not even X-tina Aguilera would dare share the stage with her when she sings like that!
