I got the Album version and the Radio Edit, and I am not in love with it. I don't think it's a WOW song to lead off the album. I hope the album has better songs. So far with her previous three albums, it was the lead off single the one that I liked the most. We'll see. I think it's gonna be huge in England, but I'm not sure of the U.S.

Don't like it. I still can't believe he hooked up with Justin and Timbaland, its not her style.
There ain't a dream that don't have the chance to come true now, it just takes a little faith baby...

I think it's very repetetive and I hardly hear Madonna sing...I think it's missing melody...
But it's not that bad...

A nicely-produced song with no REAL melody at all just like Mariah's TMB. Give me Janet's "Feedback" anytime.

Yeah, the song's pretty good but I think a lot of Janet's fans have shifted their allegiance to people like Beyonce, Fergie and Rihanna.
Going back to Hagdonna, it's so obvious that she's desperate to score a hit in the US. Heck, Celine has had more chart success in that country than her in THIS decade.

GROSS!!!! She needs to realize she's 50. It's NOT sexy when she poses half naked and spread eagle like that. "Give It 2 Me"?...why is she spelling the word "to" with "2"?. Again...she's 50!!! It's not cute...it's creepy.
However, I lurve Madonna's older stuff. I have all her CDs except Confessions. I guess I kinda got over my Madonna thing. I mean, she's definately talented...but I just find it so disturbing that she doesn't realize she's aged 30 years since when she started singing. I just think it's odd.

Madonna is every bit as delusional as Mariah. "Hung Up" costume in the MV = HORRIBLE

as much as I love some of her songs and respect her somewhat....I think her 'talent' is sooooo overrated.

Madonna is notorious for alleged plagiarism and she is said to have slept with many men in the industry to achieve what she did in the eighties. Producers, writers, disc jockeys...you name it.

Madonna's song has been quickly released to iTunes with barely 6 days of Airplay. It is currently at number 10, so I expect a high debut on the Billboard Hot 100 later tonight.

that will not be the cover of the cd!!
she will wear a 20 year old black corset from the D&G collection, and a black fur coat from the fall/winter men collection '95...
listen hear to 2 remixes of her new single...
http://www.myspace.com/junkiexl
i dont like the fact that when she works with timbaland it works... and for celine we didnt see anything...
sometimes i think madonna always has a big comeback... covers from Elle to vanity fair, interviews on big radio stations, great releases of singles with lots of remixes and formats...
and celine is only taking chances

madge is never boring or predictable....
she sings live on most of her tours at least 90% she dances and puts on a good show all the time ....the lady works hard with what she has and always entertains and at 50 u have to give her credit for that ....all praise the mighty madge!!!

despite of being hailed as the reigning QUEEN OF POP, she remains humble and grounded. i watched her 1996 interview about her song that didn't make it to #1 because of whitney's Exhale (Shoop Shoop). her producer (correct me if im wrong) is humming Exhale all the time and she's so jealous of Whitney cause she desperately wanted her producer to hum her song as well... very great woman!
and i'm playing Like a Prayer cd right now, and i think this is her best effort yet. (in contrary to what i have posted that Bedtime Stories is her best). every song on LAP is a potential single. too bad the album didn't get its shot during its time.

I'm a bit worried. Along with Céline, Lara, Tina Arena, Linda Eder, Deborah Gibson, Whitney... Mariah and Madonna are my two big idols.
I've heard four new MC (Mariah Carey) songs: Love Story, I'm that chick, Touch my body, Migrate: all four are brilliant. I'm soooooooooo excited about the album!
And I've heard four new MC (Madonna Ciccone) songs: 4 Minutes, Candy Shop, Beat goes on, Miles away: and there's only ONE I really like: Miles Away.
I've been a fan ever since Holiday was her very first hit in early 1984. I've got all her albums and singles. And I love all her work:
Madonna: 10
Like a virgin: 10
True blue: 10
Who's that girl: 9 (the Madonna songs)
You can dance: 9
Like a prayer: 10
I'm Breathless: 10
The Immaculate Collection: 10
Erotica: 8
Bedtime Stories: 9
Something to remember: 9
Evita: 10
Ray of light: 8
Music: 7
American life: 10
Confessions on a dancefloor: 10
And now I'm so worried "Hard Candy" is the first album I'm not gonna like... HELP!

I am very excited for this album, too. Unlike most, I love Madonna's past decade of music just as much as I love the early stuff.

American Life is a pretty solid album. i wonder why it became a huge flop for madge. sadly, the album that i rarely play is confessions.. not that i hate it, but the disco theme of the album isn't my thing.

For me ''Something To Remember'', ''Ray Of Light'', ''Music'', ''American Life'' and ''Confessions On A Dancefloor'' are her best albums ever.

Is it true that she never sang "True Blue" again after she broke up with Sean Penn?
As far as I know it is. But I think it's got nothing to do it with it being written for Sean. She called him 'the love of her life' years after her divorce.

The "4 Minutes" single rockets to number 3 on the Hot 100 this week.
And Ray, I looove all the artists you mentioned on a previous post.
