The rows of lights that you see are the candles from the tables.

They stared off with a video montage from all Celine's music videos with IDAN playing in the background.

I can't remeber what she was wearing at first - sorry :D
Then she stopped and gave a speech about meeting Nelson Mandela today with her who family and Rene's oldest son (maybe she forgot his name :P )

According to Jane's review, Celine did sing TPOL live last night in Johannesburg.  Jane was at the concert and she seen AND as well.

hi folks new guy on here from london, finding my way around the site,my first memory of celine was when she won the eurovision song contest, i  saw celine at wembley stadium many years ago and i am so excited to see her in may at the o2 in london. its been great reading about her opening show on here. i was amazed to hear that she sang a kiki dee song " i got the music in me", i hope that when she gets to london she sings "right next to the right one" its my favourite song on her new album, i love the simplicity and the pureness of her voice  on that track, thanks to everyone whos made reading about last nights show so interesting
