The only thing (and I mean ONLY) thing I was slightly disappointed about is the fact that she didn't sing ANDHC and Surprise Surprise.... I was definitely blown away by her EOM performance. It was incredibly dramatic and sexy ... and, wow, who could forget her RDMH dress?!?! I'd kill to have legs like hers!

As for securities, I think it is their duty, to safeguard Celine as much as possible. ( but I really hate it when they tell audience to sit down during a concert

Before she went on, an usher came up to me and asked me to go out in the hallway.... Another usher gave me a ticket upgrade......FLOOR SEATS!! I ended up sitting FRONT ROW tonight.
I'm still shaking from the experience!!! I'll post pictures sometime tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great time!!
Anyone going to AC on Saturday next week?
OMG, you are sooo lucky!!
Anyway, the show was GREAT tonight and the audience so much better than on Wed. Lots of yells & screams for her. I was standing up after almost every song yelling and clapping. She looked right at me a few times - so cool! I also ran over to where she exits and as she was coming by I screamed "Je T'Aime" and she turned and said I love you too!
The set list was the same as DC, Boston, & Wed night. Some vocals seemed a bit diff on BYLM and ABM, but not a huge difference. She dedicated The Prayer to the people in Texas near the Gulf. Let's hope there isn't a lot of damage and loss of life down there from this hurricane.
Alone & RDMH were just amazing as always, such good energy! I heard a lot of people talking on the way out and everyone had good things to say. The show was a big hit tonight!!
Next up 4 me...the 2 MSG shows next week.
It was really weird how it all happened. People who were sitting next to me were being escorted out of their seats, but weren't making a fuss about it, so I was wondering what was going on. The usher comes over to me and asks me if I'm alone -- I joked that of course I was... none of my friends would ever go with me to see Celine ... haha Anyway, she says, "Ok - I need you to go out into the hallway. Another lady is going to upgrade your ticket, but you have to be quiet." So, I went outside and no one is there. Another usher asks me if I'm ok, to which I responded I was extremely confused. She laughed and brought me through this curtain where she gave me my "Golden Ticket". As soon as I saw "Floor", I almost died. I could barely walk downstairs because my knees were shaking so badly.
When I finally got there, I was escorted down to the floor seats to the left of the ramp - where there were only like 4 or 5 rows to begin with. I was supposed to be in the 2nd row, but they couldn't find a seat ... so the girl says to me, "Oh well - you can just sit up front."
I grabbed her arm and told her that this was a cruel joke - things like this never happen to me, someone who has loved and followed her for 16 years. Anyway, yeah, it wasn't a joke. I always cry when I see Celine, but I was so beyond stunned at where I was, I couldn't get any tears to come out. At one point during the show, she walked up in front of me and, with my hand over my heart, I mouthed "I love you" and she smiled. I thought I would just melt. Later on, during her Queen performance, she came around and pointed at me, which was another highlight.
Haha ... she hasn't looked at me since Radio City in '99. It was the most amazing, breathtaking night of my 26 years of life and I wonder if I'll ever figure out how my luck turned out the way it did!
OMG Meg is that you? So happy that you got upgraded! Are you going to the MSG shows by any chance? We should catch up.

ANNA!!! Hey Hunny!! I'm not going to MSG because I couldn't call out "sick" next week, but I'm going to AC on Saturday, Raleigh, NC on 1/20 and I'm probably going to try and swing one of the Montreal shows in February if my raise goes through.
Come with me to AC!!!

That's not true. There were already more persons managing this, especially while Céline is leaving the venues. I myself have seen a few people getting their autographs from her straight after the concert in the venue.
Chula, on Sep 13 2008, 08:06 PM, said:
This has nothing to do with Céline's security. It's about the local security of the particular venues.
Actually Céline's bodyguards do exactely the opposite thing and I mean it! In Vienna the venue security kept telling us to sit down while we were dancing in front row and Nick came around and told the venue security guys that we are allowed to stand up and dance and they should leave us in peace and let us enjoy the show!

And what an awesome performance to run for!!
It's so great to see that so many of you enjoyed it as much as I did- After reading the reviews from the 10th, I was excited to see the crowd having some life to it! I think I was able to pick out the bunches of forum members around the audience- dancing, standing, having a great time!
I loved her EOM, ABM, RDMH!! My husband, who is a Celine an because he married me even was impressed by her talent (I'm glad cause now he understands why I flew to Vegas for all but 36 hours!!
I found it funny that people actually began to leave before RDMH and again before MHWGO!!
We were in 123, so excited for those of you that got upgrades!!! What an opportunity!!
I have a feeling that when she's in New York...the Crowd will be a different story...New Yorker's party like no other

Let me just say I've been waiting 10 years for Celine to come back to the area...and she didn't disappoint one bit!!!
I was in attendance both nights in Newark, having gotten tickets in the uppers for about 20 dollars each off Ebay. I'll agree with everyone else who has posted that the crowd last night was much better than on Wednesday night. Much more lively and Celine surely appreciated in through her energy! What impressed me the most about her is that even though she's sung these songs hundreds and thousands of times, the emotion that she feels and gives is very, very, VERY present and that's so enlightening to see. She LOVES what she does for a living: she loves being a singer and you can tell she absolutely LOVES being on tour again.
A large number of people in the uppers were getting comped last night and moved to different seats. Just goes to show the arena doesn't sell all the best tickets they have available as some of the best ones were reserved for relocation requests. Last night, my sister and I had seats in the second row of 215, which are directly against the glass giving you only about 4-6 inches of legroom. I saw a bunch of people were being called down (like the accounts here have already stated) to the landing area and were being given replacement tickets. Since I have a knee problem I decided that we would give it a shot. The Prudential Center employee I spoke to was very accommodating, and after speaking to her, showing her where my seats were located, she handed my sister and I tickets to SECT 13 Row 2, located directly behind the sound and video controls. What an AMAZING experience! We got to see Celine up close and personal when she walked in and out, and we even watched her sign the CD for another one of the members here. Celine looked directly at my sister and I standing in the corner and waved at us as the security people whisked her away. What an incredible night it was!
If anyone has the chance to see a show at the Prudential Center, my advice is GO. There's been a great deal of bad vibes given off about Newark and the whole experience as a whole (with good reason given the history of the city) but the Newark Police Department and the mayor of the city not once during the 2 shows I attended ever made me feel like I wasn't safe. And the sound inside the arena itself is state of the art and top notch: the best sounding arena I've ever had the chance to see and listen to a show, and I've been to many in my 26 years of life! (MSG just isn't a good place acoustically to see a show, IMO).
It's been fun reading everyone's experiences of the shows the past few nights. Keep them coming!

Steph
