Well atleast she got a number 1 in 2007!!  :clap:  even if the album didnt do as good!!

she still had pretty healthy competition from kylie!!
so its amazing shes at number 1!!

But i have to wait till christmas to get mine  :glare:   :cry:

me too, the day I bought "Taking Chances", I also bought the new Harry Potter DVD and my partner was so angry because I had just bought one of the presents he wanted to get me as a surprise, so I had to promise not to buy it lol....Cant wait for xmas  :clap:  :clap:  :clap:

WOW! I'm so happy that the DVD is doing so well. I still can't get over how many copies sold in Quebec! That's so amazing to me! This s such an amazing day. I'm glad that we'll have A New Day to remember FOREVER!!!!

I know that DVD charts contains different kind of DVDs.
But I'm talking about ALBUMS chart, not the DVD. In Switzerland the DVD can enter the ALBUMS chart if it sells enough copies. I think it's the same in Germany and maybe few other countries.

I won't be surprised when the DVD sells more than the actual album.  :popesmiley:

But at least this part of the history won't get forgotten. Especially with the Blu-Ray release coming up in January things look really well for this concert and its sales. I'm very glad about its success.

Of course the DVD will sell more copies than the latest album. I gathered from another Filipino fan who's based in the US that the DVD has a print run of 10 million units in that country alone.

What dumbfounded me though was what he said that while Mariah's new DVD was prominently displayed in the aisle, he had to search for Celine's. He eventually found it on a next-to-bottom shelf. Just like TCH. I hope this was/is just an isolated incident.
