I miss that too!  Now when Celine finishes All by Myself, she seems to lay down on stage and then stands up.

But I love those funky hand and arm movements she used to do in the mid and late 1990s when she would finish performing All by Myself.  She did the arm and hand movements in Memphis too.


Take notice of the arm and have movements starting at 3:50 in the video:

to be honest i cant stand those hand movements lol.  i prefer the laying down she does now

MHWGO was totally not live, the fact she was flailing her arms all over the place just like Vegas should be enough of a clue, nevermind the pre-rendered and unnatural echos. It's just a new or perhaps modified version that's all....like for I Surrender on the "A New Day" DVD where it was different but was obviously not live either.

ive always wondered about echos - because isn't there a way to perform live but add effects such as echo while you're performing to enhance it and have someone control it from inside the room or sth.  or does it always mean it's pre-recorded effect that's done in the post recording process in the studio? :S  

i hope this doesn't sound like i'm defending mhwgo being live cos I could care less about the live vs lipsynch debate LOL I just have always wondered about echos in general

I don't know Thomas....it's different. Why would do modify only that song and not TPOL, TLYM, etc?
I reckon it's really live....perhaps one time only, perhaps at times when she's feeling good.. this one is not the same like at the previous shows on this tour (and AND)..

Yes, it's called "reverb" and can easily be manipulated by the sound technician/engineer/board operator.

For those who have attended the concerts, how and when does she introduce the band?

The only member she introduced was Barnev Valsaint at the end of I'll be you're Angel.  Quite a shame.  I remember the Falling Into You tour where she would mimic all the instruments.  That was a great show.

Sounds the same to me! Pretoria at least. Where is the full version from Dubai that you compared it to? I've only seen clips with the ending missing.

How sad that she still fails to introduce her band properly. I thought this disrespectful trend was due to Vegas and the show not being a typical concert, but there's no excuse on tour. She did it in the past, she could do it now.

Yes, I have noticed it too!  For example, when she performed The Power of Love in Pretoria, you can tell Celine switched her microphone from one hand to the other to fix something in her back... That specific incident occurred after she had sang the first lines of the song into the verse of "... Cause I'm your lady... "

She plays with the box on her back when switching over from live to playback or vice versa. I think it also controls the sound in her ear, so she could be turning it down or up...etc. She's always had it.

she can only change volume , channels in case of changing mics for example and and turn on/off

She can turn the mic on and off with it then right? Which is what I meant. For playback you need to turn the mic off. I'm not positive on that, but if I'm wrong, I'm sure you will correct me. I'm not trying to start a playback fiasco, I just thought that was what it was used for since it since at those moments she plays with it.
