I just got back (live in Ohio), best day of my life!  So much fun I was so sad it was over.  So glad I splurged on the floor seats.  I'll have download my pictures tomorrow.

The show was seriously AWESOME. She had a big budget for this show, didn't she?   I can't say that it was the BEST concert I have ever been to, because I am biased & it's tough to beat my favorite band , but I will at least let it beat 2 of the 3 Spice Girls shows I've seen.   

I do not have the best pictures because as I said, I was just about last row, but I made a pretty much complete video of To Love You More and then like a 42 second video of the opener w/ Detroit on the screen!   If anyone is interested...w/ the distance away I was, it's pretty much just audio, but better than nothing, hey?

did celine give flowers out at the end of the show? because i missed that because we left just as the song was over at my show because we had to wait for our ride to pick us up. if so are there any pictures of that?

No, a lot of people give her flowers during the show, if they can get past security.

My Review:

So I was supposed to have the Hot Sound Package, but I find out after calling the palace yesterday afternoon that I purchased the Gold package which DOESN'T include the soundcheck. So I basically spent $800 for a suitcase, lanyard that got me no where, and 5th row seats that the people next to me spend $150 or so for. Not to be a downer because Celine is worth EVERY penny but I was PISSED. I called Sarah before leaving home for the show and we decided to get there early in hopes to Celine pull in. We were lucky! At about 5:30pm she pulled in with 2 black SUVs, pulled down her window and stuck her head out and waved at us! I was really hoping she would stop, but at least I got to see her pull in. My mom was trying to take a picture of it, and ended up taping it! it's not very good, but I will try and upload it for you all.

Then we went to pick up our will call tickets and from the Palace lobby we could heard the soundcheck pretty clearly. While, I am still disappointed I did not get to see it after expecting too, I am very happy I got to listen to it!

I bought Celine 5 sunflowers and tried to give them to her, but Palace security blows!
The beginning of My Love I made my way carefully to the stage, going the long way. The first worker smiled and just asked me to kneel down because I was blocking some people's view. As I got closer, a second lady told me I couldn't go up there. I ignored her and kept walking..then a third guy, closest to the stage told me I couldn't go up, and as I got closer he grabbed my wrist and asked me where my seat was. I stayed there till the end of the song, waved my hands, hoping I would get Celine's attention, but her eyes were close as she ended the song. She was SO into it I did not want to scream loudly and ruin the song just to give her my $6 flowers, so I went back to my seat. I tried again right as MHWGO ended, but she was walking all over the stage, and did not notice me right across from her waving them in the air. I was waving them the whole concert (5th row center), so she had to have seen that some point. I had to admit my focus on giving her the flowers distracted me from the whole experience, and as a word of advice don't let not getting up there ruin a show for you! It didn't ruin it..but definitely made me sad. It was also sad because this is my last Taking Chances show, unless I win a contest by some miracle. I guess you can't have luck two concerts in a row....and I am SO THANKFUL I got the opportunity to meet her and give her my non-perishable frog and letter in Cleveland. At least she knows who I am, and that I love her, which is more than anyone could hope for.

Overall the show was great! I am glad I got the opportunity to sit so close! I had different seats all three shows, and it definitely gives you a different perspective, which is awesome! The people in our section were all really nice and stood up during every "stand up" song. The standing ovation after ABM was great, and I could tell Celine was really touched, even though she gets them all the time. There wasn't any cute Detroit comments from her, and I have to say she didn't interact with the audience as much as Columbus or Cleveland. She was SO beautiful as always, and I can definitely feel "CDWS" coming on! It's back to reality for me!

Celine did not give flowers out at the end, some fans gave her roses that they bought from a vendor at the Palace.

I will try and upload some pics and the video of her car driving in. I've never uploaded anything before so bear with me!

Sarah and Becca-it was SO nice to meet you and spend the evening with you! You guys are so sweet, and I had a lot of fun! We'll have to get together at another Celine show in the future!

So I am trying to upload the video of her car pulling up, and it says I am not permitted to upload this type of file. Does anyone know what to do? It's just off of my Canon digital camera. Also, when I try to upload pictures it says they are too big.

I've never uploaded anything to forum before so I don't really know what I'm doing.

Awww, so sorry you didn't get to give her your flowers. But bravo for being persistant and trying so hard!

I think security is tightening up about the flowers. We just want to give her flowers because we love her, I don't see the problem.

She was in a great mood in Cleveland... hehe. She cracks me up!

Yeah flowers are tough....and it's frustrating being so close, yet so far. It was worth trying. Congrats to everyone whose been able to get through with the flowers, you guys rock! For some reason I couldn't get myself to cry and make them feel sorry for me. I have no idea why because I would expect to cry around Celine, but I can't. lol

With all this security crap, I'm getting worried they are going to take away my package that I have for Celine!  I bought her a pretty lilac bracelet to match her opening dress (is this the opening dress? Sorry I havent been to a concert yet) but its in a jewelry box and I have a letter and a froggy.. its all tied together with a wired lilac ribbon.. I'm afraid they're going to take it away from me when they search bags.... i wanted to try to give it to her at the end of the show! (and maybe .. JUST maybe she might wear the bracelet at one of the shows... fat chance! but im a dreamer! =) ) I just hope they dont take it  =(

My Review:
Before I start let me just say I thought Gordie Brown was GREAT  ya i was excited when he was done because Celine would come on - but he is just so funny I Thought!!!! Also I took my camrea in NO Problem i could have taped the whole concert on DVD with my Video Camra but I didnt take it.

THE REVIEW:  Just   A-M-A-Z-I-N-G  was how i would describe this concert!!
Celine was in a great mood and adlibs alot.
Some of the shows highlights were All By Myself- The Whole Palace gave her a standing ovation for this song!
Also Believe it or Not "Shadow Of Love" was recieved good to the audience.
But the nonCeline fans who were there left after LCMM cause she said goodnight , I mean how stupid can you be when you think the show is over yet she hasnt even sang her most sucessful hit MHWGO... Celine could tell cause she back on the stage and said "Your Still Here, Detroit!"
The Show Must Go On was also highly approved by the audience. But Perhaps the biggest moment came when Celine walked to the stage right before IDAN the whole audience went crazy!!!!
Celine was very ineracting with the audience constantly winking her eyes,  blowing kisses and repeating the words "Thank you" constantly even though the mic wasent to her mouth!!!

I Give this show a Ranking of 9.5/10 It was a great experience!!!!
