It's too bad this was released so close to the Xmas season because a lot of the AC stations are beginning to play more and more Xmas music.  Her biggest supporting station, WLTW 106.7 Lite FM in NYC has just gone to ALL Xmas music which means they won't be playing Taking Chances at all.  The song was #1 at the station.

My thoughts EXACTLY. Not only has lite FM gone to all holiday music, but so has every other AC station in the area, Celine is going to take a shot in the gut, but hopefully she'll recover by Dec. 26th, otherwise we'll have to be happy with TC peaking at #11 and hope for the best with the next single, whichever that is.

I just heard TC on WNCI 97.9 here in Columbus, OH and the DJ remarked after it ended

"Wow, she hits some amazing notes in that song...it doesn't even sound like Celine in that song."  Then mentioned she sang it on Dancing with the Stars last night.

celine will go down in the billboard hot 100 for sure...the only reason she made it to #54 last week was her high position on itunes...now she is down on itunes and down on AC stations...
