Why so many Whitney's and Mariah's?
1. Different strokes for different folks.
2. At least with my rankings, I was talking about overall career vocals and not just a specific time, and who I preferred overall in terms of voice. I can't speak for everyone but that's just my opinion.
I don't take topics like this seriously because it is just going to turn into another Celine versus Mariah versus Whitney battle...
I'm not talking about a specific time frame. I was never really a fan of Whitney nor Mariah... Maybe it is just because I grew up listening to Celine... But like you said: To each his own...
Stardust: I'm sorry, but don't end of discussion me... That is just your opinion.

1: Celine Acourse.
2: Whitney Houston.
3: "She is a new diva in the making and i am loving her voice..she has a classical soprano voice,
and she has shoved Mariah from the third place of my favorits...Top 3.
This Classical new diva is no other then the 48 year old Susan Boyle.
4-5
Mariah and Beyoncé.
I love Charice also but still i am not..really feeling her "Dopey"
i don´t know why maybe cause she refers to Celine,Whitney to much.
I added this yesterday but i have changed my mind
about the top 3.
1. Whitney Houston fan since 1985.
2. Celine Dion fan since 1988.
3. Mariah Carey fan since 1990.
4-5. Barbra Streisand and Lara Fabian.
Susan Boyle comes in 6th place.

1. Celine will always be my number #1 no female singer will ever be that but her.
2. AleXandra Burke. OMG her debut album made me a big fan of hers, that voice and those amazing songs.
She has the future ahead of her.
3. Christina Aguilera.
4. Leona Lewis...Her new song Happy is great and the songs from her debut album still remains fave of mine.
5. Mariah Carey...Will be number#5 this time i am bored of Memoirs Of Imperfect Angel, The songs are to slow for my taste
she needs to make fast dance tracks for a change. I dig IWKWLI and Angels Cry, Inseprable is a nice ballad too.
