Why is "why oh why" put in "LTAL" album ?It's a bad song

I really like that song and I even once had a short phase when for some reason I kept replaying it over and over again. There IS something about that song... And in fact I always find it interesting when she experiments with different styles and sounds.

to each his own, but i really love this song. i think it showcases the different side of Celine. it's like Celine-meets-Toni-Braxton. and every time she sings in her low register, she sounds really sexy.

ETA: i have to say this is definitely one of the highlights of the album. i'm not gonna lie. i find the whole LTAL album weak compared to FIY or TCOML, but this song actually makes the album more interesting in some way.

i think the song is good but Celine kinda made it sound bad with the shouting and saying "baby"

Really, LTAL as a whole is a pretty cruddy album.  The Reason, To Love You More (which should have been on FIY in the US like it was in other places), Immortality, and MHWGO are the only AMAZING songs on that album.

I Hate You Then I Love You, Let's Talk About Love and Tell Him are pretty good.  

The rest is filler and it is nowhere near on par with Falling Into You.  It feels like a rush job circled around MHWGO.

I was listening to the album yesterday, and I wanted to say the same thing! Us is just amazing! :wub2:


I thought that one of the reasons why we feel that the album is full of 'fillers' was because so little songs were sang live, or were performed.
but that actually isn't true! these songs were performed live (or at least 'live') on tour :P

1. The Reason
  2. Immortality
  3. Treat Her Like A Lady
  6. Tell Him
12. My Heart Will Go On
16. Let’s Talk About Love

6 songs out of 16, is the same as 6 out of 16 TCWT

  5. Love Is On The Way

was part of the first few shows of LTAL tour, but was cut

15. I Hate You Then I Love You

was part of the Pavarotti concert for something thing

  8. When I Need You

was lipped once in a tv show.

  4. Why Oh Why
  7. Amar Haciendo El Amor
  9. Miles To Go (Before I Sleep)
10. Us
11. Just A Little Bit Of Love
13. Where Is The Love
14. Be The Man

though this still leaves us with 7 songs, that were never performed... which is a shame imo, cos
Miles To Go (Before I Sleep) sounds awesome with only the piano (recording sessions)
and  Just A Little Bit Of Love could have been a great replacement for Declaration of Love...
